Had some family in from out of town and wanted to try something local that we hadn’t been to before. We were sat right away with no wait. Our waitress (I forgot her name but started with an “A”) was awesome. She did a great job explaining the menu, giving us some suggestions to what she thought was good and gave us a run down on how they made their dough from scratch and about their use of fresh ingredients. Ordered 2 appetizers and 3 large pizzas. Apps came out quick and the cheese bread was awesome! Pizzas came out in a timely manner shortly after. They were fantastic. Crust was perfect and crisp. Toppings were tasty as well. We had ordered the meat sweats, a Canadian bacon and pineapple and a cheese pizza for the kids. It was all really good. We would definitely come back again. Is the cost more? Yeah it is but this also isn’t Pizza Hut pizza it’s definitely a cut above the rest and well worth the money. You get what you pay for here. Can’t wait to go back.

WHY did we wait this long to try Pizza Cheeks?! Absolutely the BEST Pizza and gluten free crust I have EVER HAD! I started with a dinner salad and was pleasantly surprised with the freshness and quality of the ingredients! If you are a lover of bluecheese dressing like I am, youare in for another treat! Best EVER! And NOW on to the Pizza. If I could give it 10 stars, I would! First off, you'd never know the gluten free crust was gluten free! A nice thin crust unlike some of these places with thick uncooked flavorless dough...this was thin, crispy and full of flavor! The pizza toppings were high quality, fresh and flavorful! They don't skimp on the cheese either! I chose the build your own pizza. GF crust, Vodka sauce, chicken, mushrooms, red onion and bell peppers! My daughter had the Pesto pasta! Rich and full of flavor! She loved it! To top it all off, we had some of the best service we have had in a long time at any food establishment! Arianna was fabulous! Friendly, helpful with the menu and on top of the entire visit from start to finish! Don't wait! Put Pizza Cheeks on your go to Pizza place STAT!!

I love trying new pizza places. This restaurant just recently opened so I told the wife to put on her best pizza dress and let's go!
The decor has a good pizza place vibe. We ordered mozzarella sticks and a pepperoni/jalapeño pizza. As usual, the mozzarella sticks are just frozen from a bag. Rarely do I get the place that takes the 2 seconds to hand roll mozzarella in bread crumbs and toss it in fryer. I guess it's too easy to make them homemade.
The pizza was solid. Very good. Probably a 7.7 on the Portnoy scale. After eating we went to the small arcade and played some pinball. I will say they absolutely soak every last dollar they can for food. I mean, $23 for large cheese then $3 for each decent topping. Cheesecake for $13, cheesticks for $12. As high as you can go.
Overall this restaurant is what I would call a standard pizza place. Decent food, pinball and a pizza atmosphere. Nothing that knocks your socks off and nothing that draws you back. One of those, one and done stops.
UPDATE TO THE OWNER REPLY: No offense, you come off defensive and full of excuses. My review is my opinion and it should be taken as constructive criticism. If you're an owner, replies like that are not what you should be doing.

Was not overly impressed with the pizza. Pretty high price for the quality that we got. Our server was very friendly, but took forever for us to get our order and they rarely checked on us.
I’m sure this might’ve just been a fluke. I’m sure we’ll probably try them again.

Highly recommend this restaurant. Easy to find, great parking, and some of the best tasting pizza I have had. Hand tossed dough has a great taste and chew, ingredients fresh, and sauce good - not sweet. Try this place the next time you crave pizza. You will not be disappointed!

I feel the quality of the food did not match with the prices I feel the lemon flavored chicken wings tasted just like the chickens you buy at Walmart, the pizza crust was a bit hard to chew also.

This place used to be the best. It’s sad to say that 2021 through 2023 might have been its prime years and now it’s “washed”. Really disappointed in the customer service and quality of Margherita pizza we ordered tonight. I’m not sure if it’s just a new recipe or new business model for their pizzas or what, but the Margherita pizza has just not been the same the last few times we’ve had it. It was always consistent / prepared the same way since Pizza Cheeks opened in 2021 up until however long ago. Sadly, it looks like there’s similar reviews from other individuals that also used to put Pizza Cheeks at the top of their local Sioux Falls pizza list, but now it feels like a shell of what it once was. I’m sure they will be just fine in our growing city, but it’s sad to wonder and feel like Pizza Cheeks has only gone downhill since they moved to their new location on 26th and Minnesota Ave.
