DIRTY! The lady literally started making y sandwich took my cash duh through the register with the same gloves then grabbed my sandwich and started working on it again. I asked her to please change gloves and she did but if you can’t comprehend how DIRTY that is I can imagine what the food prep in the back is like. I did not even eat my food and I’m not going back

I'm a Chicago native and felt at home at the SF PBs! Great job with how the sandwiches are made. True to the original in Chicago. My favorite sandwiches are the Avo-turkey sandwich and the chicken pot pie soup, but then again so many are classic like the tuna sub and the italian sub etc. Great cookies and shakes too. Will return!

Food, customer service, and atmosphere all awesome. We are from the Chicagoland area, and went to the original Potbelly's in Lincoln Park. Just like back home.

Usually very good, but tonight I picked up my order and once home realized I was given a “skinny” sandwich instead of the regular size. Maybe they ran out of the regular sized bread or something but regardless I paid for the regular and received the skinny version.
Put cheese in my salad when I specifically asked for no cheese
The Wreck is simply the best sandwich ever!!

Went there Wednesday around 7ish the staff was not friendly at all. Very rude.
They were moping around us, almost like we were in THERE way. Tables were dirty.
This used to be a good place, but after that TERRIBLE service, I am not sure I would recommend to anyone.

I usually love getting food from here it was always good but that was my first time at this particular shop and the food didn't taste the same veggies weren't as fresh even with seasoning and other things on it still tasted plain and the meet just didn't tast right and a funky smell to it
If you own a restaurant, having a customer who takes home an incorrect order is your worst nightmare. So I had great compassion when I brought my sandwich back to Potbelly - bearing no resemblance to what I had ordered. I even saw them build it with my own eyes. So I had no reason to doubt what was in my sack wasn’t what I ordered. So, as much as I hated to do it, it was back to Pot Belly. Of course they made it right. Plus some other goodies to boot. Always great food here. But beyond that … when something gets messed up, they make it good, PLUS.
The staff was very friendly, and the dining area was very clean and well maintained. I got a flatbread sandwich, and it was delicious. I would definitely eat here again!

Amazing tasting sandwiches, and amazing staff especially ETHAN JONES! He is a big reason why i look forward to dining in, very kind, very professional.
I got the Powerhouse salad and it’s so good. I don’t like spending money on going out to eat unless I get full, and you definitely get your moneys worth with the salads here. They are DINNER salads and they are LOADED. I eat them after a long construction shift when I’m STARVING and i always get full. Meant to take a pic before digging in but I couldn’t wait!
We ordered the Turkey & Swiss & A Wreck. Both were good, boyfriend thought A Wreck could have used more meat. The only thing I didn't like was bread being dry, maybe older from earlier in the day? Toasting made the crust just crumble, unfortunately.
Great atmosphere though & the woman who added our condiments was a joy to watch - she made it look so easy, fun and cool even! Prices were great at $9 for my regular sized (footlong) Turkey & Swiss & bout $9.50 for the boyfriend's same sized A Wreck.
Loved the Pot-bellied stove that greets you upon entry and unique, fun tables and local pictures!!
Definitely worth a return trip.
Sandwiches have half as much meat as shown in pictures. Atmosphere of restaurant was very down. I ordered through the app and it knocked off all the toppings I selected, so I had to go back. The manager offered to remake the sandwiches which was nice, but he kept the old ones (?). Maybe they’re hungry, but I hope they don’t get sick because I have a cold. The Wrecker was good with the spicy ranch, red peppers, and pickles (I also had Italian seasoning selected in the app but forgot in the store). For what you pay you don’t get a lot. I probably won’t be back.
The hot peppers are a must. Staff are all fairly upbeat and welcoming
