We came here for the first time on New Year's Eve at 8 p.m. I liked that the host stand was outside of the front doors. There isn't a huge interior design change between the prior Ode to Food and Rivage, it could use a little something extra for some visual pop. They had a separate and specific New Year's Eve menu. The pheasant rillette was great, it would be nice to have a 4th piece for the price. Unfortunately, two of the entrées we were considering were already sold out. All of the food was excellent, the Turbot is a very light meal, so if you are very hungry, order additional food with it. The steak and potatoes were pretty amazing. The service was great and we waited an average amount of time for everything. The whipped chocolate mousse layers in the chocolate and raspberry cake was slightly hard and waxy, wasn't a fan of it in that cake. The bloody mary is a house-made mix and was wake-you-up spicy in a shocking, but good way. Elevated food = elevated pricing. We will definitely be back.

First time visiting and my wife and I had a great date! The oysters were on point (we even ordered a second half dozen!!) the lamb chislic was was really tasty, and the pork cheeks were delectable. My wife had the tuna crudo for her main, and it was a nice sized portion. Great cocktails, wonderful live music (one dude playing at a great volume, very nice ambiance) and exceptional food. The service was excellent too! Our server Rashel was very professional and at the top of her game. Thank you for a great evening, we will be back!

The food was very good, but the menu is small. I would definitely return, but with an understanding that the selection options are limited.

The owner Devon was absolutely amazing to work with for a surprise engagement we did on the patio! He went above and beyond! The bread board, pasta and wedge salad were out of this world. He treated us like family and was so welcoming and accommodating 😘😘 forever guests because of this local owner ❤️

I feel bad, but we were disappointed. We were excited to try out the food, but it did not meet our expectations. First we were disappointed as we were excited to try some items from the menu wr saw online ahead of time, however, we had a different in person menu. We asked if we could order from what was listed online, but we were told we couldn't because they had a new menu.

The truffle fry sauce was fantastic, but our other selections were just okay, unfortunately not worth the price. Some of our order was wrong and we questioned the waitress, but she said it was correct, however, it wasn't. Perhaps we dined on an off night...maybe our expectations were too high.

Great new, local restaurant that has a beautiful location. Jamie took special care of us and made some great suggestions. The bloody mary was fabulous and the Walleye cakes were our favorite. The Wagyu burger and wedge were great entrees and a must try.

I ordered the American Wagyu Burger, and it was hands down one of the most delicious, flavorful burgers I’ve ever had — perfectly juicy, seasoned just right, and cooked to perfection. My boyfriend got the Coulotte Steak, and wow… it was melt-in-your-mouth savory and absolutely divine. Every bite was full of rich, buttery flavor. Between the amazing food, cozy atmosphere, and top-notch service, Rivage Oak Kitchen has definitely earned a spot on our list of favorite places to eat. We can’t wait to go back!

Having dinner at this establishment is nothing short of an experience. The moment we stepped inside, we were greeted a thoughtful and detailed crew. We were sat and took in the ambiance. Modern, thoughtfully designed, With the heart of South Dakota in mind. It feels like a warm cabin.

What truly sets this restaurant apart for me was the devotion to South Dakota’s culinary roots. Rivage Oak has locally sourced ingredients. Very well described on the menu.
They are crafted with an artistic flair that’s both imaginative but familiar. The menu features an selection of high-end creations, including venison, perfectly aged steaks, tender chicken, and our South Dakota’s own pheasant. The great thing is they made sure to include good old-fashioned home cooked food for people of any taste.

For those seeking a great nightout with you and yours. This is your place. We will be coming back. Often.

Great server, she was almost apologetic, for the food, which was odd. Almost as if she had heard the negatives before. Plating was artful, service was efficient atmosphere beautiful. Flavors were benign. Food lacked love, seasoning and flavor. Sad to say, we will not likely be back.
