Great spot in Sioux Falls! The atmosphere was awesome, fire place well maintained keeping it cozy and warm while the open roasting fire was nearby. Fantastic selection of drinks, creative menu of Old Fashioneds and many more! The smokey smell that greets you as you walk in is to die for. The drinks were good and the food very delicious. Presentation was lacking on both, but taste was excellent! The deviled eggs were smokey and creamy and went well with the scotch and Manhattan we had. Very lovely evening and wasn't too busy! Will definitely be back!

First time in the restaurant appeared clean and I liked the atmosphere service was good no complaints there I had the bourbon glazed salmon with mashed potatoes broccolini medley and lemon cream sauce the salmon was medium rare nothing was seasoned and the portions were miniscule completely flavorless and everything was barely luke warm I had a ginger beer which was also flavorless I'd say it's a good place to have some drinks but I'd pass on the food it's an embarrassment

Portions are adequate to price and despite some setbacks, all food that was ordered by party was well liked. Unfortunately, the waitress assigned to our table was not well suited. She brought out incorrect drinks (soda: not even a mixed drink) and forgot the soup our table ordered after needing to come back to confirm twice. Getting a To-go box ended up taking longer than the time spent actually eating our meal, with again 3 requests before receiving. The restaurant only had two other small tables in our section at the time and plenty of open parking and seating during lunch. If you have time to spare the food is worth a trip but not something I would return to.

Roam…Vastly Disappointed
This is the first time I’ve felt compelled to write a review, as I usually enjoy most things. Visiting my girlfriend, being from the West Coast, we’ve been eager to try the best of what Sioux Falls has to offer. ROAM appeared to have great reviews that reflected specialty bourbon cocktails and upscale barbecue cooking. Unfortunately, the bourbon was the best part of this otherwise overpriced, uninspired, cold food that was surpassed by the local Culver’s drive thru hamburger. To be frank, all of the items sounded like they could have been amazing, but everything just fell flat: from the chislic appetizer, which was honestly well cooked, but lacked any flavor or seasoning; to the brisket plate, which was sadly dry and felt like it was microwaved half an hour ago; to my girlfriend’s beef dip sandwich (advertised as prime rib with au jus, but tasted and looked like school cafeteria gray roast beef served with an odd McCormick’s-like beef gravy). The service was just as bad, with every employee asking each other if they were going to go home early because it was slow, and one employee napping on the waiting area bench. Nobody cared to ask how our food was despite leaving most of our food on our plates. All of this for over $100, and honestly just feel extremely ripped off and unsatisfied. Luckily, the local Culver’s drive thru had a great burger and fries, was much more flavorful and warm, and cost 1/5th of the price. Hopefully they just had an off night, but we won’t be back.

Food tastes good, could have been warmer. I liked the meat loaf, the homemade tartar sauce was flavored too strong with onion and smoke. Drinks were generous, staff were courteous. I'd go again.

I had a fantastic steak and crème brûlée for dessert! Based on the reviews I didn’t have super high expectations but I was very pleasantly surprised. The wait staff were amazing and the patio area is great!

One of my favorite places to go when I want to treat myself to a damn good old fashion and food. Ribs are awesome here. I have had multiple things on there menu and it always presented nicely its like art to see how the food is presented. They pay attention to detail in everything they do. If you're an old fashion connoisseur this is the place for you. Its a work of art truly of everything they do.
The only thing i will say is go here at non peak hours or else it'll be hard to get in. You have to set up reservations if you have a group. I go nonpeak hours and get amazing service. I have gone here before for my birthday and it was a very long wait around 5pm.

Staff are friendly, attentive, and check in often
Went here for lunch on our way through town. We were amazed by the beautiful interior and spacious outdoor seating. The hostess was prompt and our waiter was welcoming and professional. The pastrami sandwich was fall apart tender with excellent seasoning and topped with melty cheese and delicious red cabbage. Would defintely recommend dining here with friends and family. 12/10, 5 Stars
