Royal Palace Chinese Restaurant

When I travel to Sioux falls, I like to come here. The food is pretty good, it's not gourmet but I keep coming back. It's never busy for dine in, but there seems to be a ton of door dash and pickup orders. Price is on line with other quick dine in. Google has the wrong hours listed. They are closed on Wednesday per the note on the door, which has caught me a couple of times because I couldn't remember the particular day between visits.

This was our first visit to Royal Palace and it was delightful! The sauces tasted wonderful and made with fresh everything! We will definitely be returning!

This was the only Chinese food I had on my trip. I had the Kung Pai Tofu it was good and it hit the spot for me.

Got the beef fried rice and beef Lo Mien fried rice was very good Lo Mien not so much. Very expensive with the portions they give for take out with that in mind I would go else where in Sioux Falls for

Friendly service and good food..

Given them a few shots because are much closer than the good spots (imo)... latest garlic chicken taste like fish or to much fish sauce. Transitioned into the fried rice... chicken wings not bad. Beef sticks ok too but chicken on a stick if they did much better and tougher to do. Will always take the extra 15 and drive to golden bowl or Saigon panda, or szechuan or place one block off of 12th and kiwanis.. golden harvest maybe. Overall my garlic chicken shouldn't taste like fish along with the rice. Sorry but no thanks

Quick, good prices, good quantity. Dishes tend to taste pretty similar to each other and can be hard to finish.

Very quiet setting, hostess was not rude but definitely not welcoming. I will say this though. Had the chicken fried rice which was pretty decent.......but the orange chicken... man best ive ever had. Very fresh tasting ingredients.

1 star because food came fast & was hot. I ordered the shrimp with lobster sauce, beef fried rice, fried wontons, & 2 eggs rolls. Everything was so salty, except the egg rolls. They had too much pepper in them. Everything had a weird taste. Beef in the fried rice looked weird, no color. Rice had too much soy sauce added to it. Fried wontons were just the wonton triangle wrapper fried. No meat inside. Weird. Egg roll had a strange taste. When I opened my sealed fortune cookie a musty smell hit my nose. Plus it tasted odd. I have no idea how that could have happened. Possibly because of where they had it stored? Truthfully, I barely ate anything from my order. I have to remember not to order from here again. This was my 2nd time getting from there in about 2 or 3 yrs? 1st time was equally as disappointing.

Service was fine. Food and portion size is absolutely horrible. Crab rangoons had no filling. Ordered garlic chicken but got garlic vegetables in a soup instead with 3-5 small pieces of chicken. Ordered a side of pork fried rice - All for $45. How? Horrible. Eat somewhere else!
