We tried an assortment of things tonight. We had the beef nachos , a taco salad, a burrito and the Rudy”s special. All were great! Awesome flavor and portions
Always have great meals here, highly recommend the Rudy Special. Rudy and his staff have always treated me and my family like family!
I grew up eating Navarrete Family Mexican food in and around Sioux City. Rudy is still using the tried and true recipes of his ancestors. Don’t expect a large selection. I suggest the burrito with gravy and “supreme it” with sour cream, lettuce, tomato and black olives. It’s delicious and comforting and doesn’t come with rice and beans that you don’t need, unless you add them. At $10.75, including tax it’s a deal! Oh, and the salsa has just the right amount of kick. I can’t wait to come back!!
Great place to enjoy an AWESOME MEAL. Will be back again soon.
Food was great. Rudy was excellent. It was our first time there so he took the time to go over the entire menu with us. Restaurant was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Loved it! This isn’t just some generic Tex-Mex place. They have food options you won’t find anywhere else in town & they’re delicious! So glad we visited and look forward to many future visits.
The service here is amazing and the prices are reasonable. This place is family friendly with several unique options to choose from. If you've never been here before, they walk you through the menu which was really nice. We tried several different options and they were all delicious.
The food was great. The service was great. The prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend it. Del Johnke #deljohnke
Good food, nice atmosphere, attentive service. Though their location may make them difficult to reach at times, they are well worth it!! They are located right next to the Dairy Queen on 57th & Western. You may have even driven right past them without noticing, but this is a Tex-Mex restaurant you need to check out! The owner himself usually goes over the menu with you if it's your first visit & he's very generous with delicious samples of their house specialty sauces. I will definitely keep coming back!!
Great food and clean atmosphere. You can feel that the owner takes a lot of pride in the food, and I love the family back story. The food was delicious and generous portions for a good price. Definitely will go back!

Waitress was friendly. Attentive service. There was a decent selection of food on the menu the hardest part is trying to figure out what to eat. Love the chips and salsa that came at the table. The salsa was very delicious. I definitely want to go back and try their taco bar on Sunday.
My experience at Rudy Navarrete's was fine. The customer service was neither poor nor excellent, it was up to standard. The restaurant was clean and simple. Ambiance was basic. The food was generously portioned for the price, however the ground beef tasted like it came out of a bag and sat around in a warmer all day. I will say though that everything else in my plate, tomatoes, lettuce, tortilla, olives and sour cream tasted crisp and fresh.... Appropriate for the 10 dollars I spent. Overall my food was okay but not an experience I would go out of my way to repeat. It was fine. There are many restaurants in town that are worse but just as many that are better, however more expensive.
Simple menu, too simplified for me, I wanted to see a little more variety. Most the menu focuses on red sauces, which tend to be on the heavy side, but were flavorful. Large meat portions. Prices seemed good. Only received 2 menus for a 4-top. Waitress seemed legitimately angry until it was time to pay (tip).
We had great service. Got our orders quickly, and the food was awesome. Prices are decent, too. I highly recommend
This is a cute, cozy little restaurant with delicious food and friendly service. My boyfriend and I came in on a Sunday afternoon for our first time and were served by the owner himself. He was incredibly friendly and made great recommendations. At the time of this review they have 10 tap beers, including 3 local craft beers. The chips were delicious, the salsa was tasty. We were able to split a meal, the portions were so big. We had one of Rudy’s favorites. Will definitely be coming back. Definitely recommend.
