I just had the most amazing experience at the Starbucks on 85th! Stephanie, Chrystal and Gavin greeted me like forever friends and proceeded to make the most ‘difficult’ drink with finesse. Happy customer right here:)

First time I have a bad experience at Starbucks 85th and Minnesota. The barista Andrew was not welcoming at all, as I am getting cash to pay, he looked like he didn't want to wait. I asked him to scan my stars and he said he couldn't because I already paid. It is not my first time at Starbucks and he could done it but he chose not to.

Weirdest Starbucks EverExtremely strange staff here, when I arrived I was greeted by a man who called himself Justin. He was around 5'4, balding, a little chubby; not very flattering to say the least. He also mentioned that he was the manager, but I'm not too sure if I believe that with how he conducted himself. I approached the counter and asked for a regular black coffee, no sugar, no milk. However, Justin exclaimed that "we don't serve that here." with an aggrevated look on his wrinkled face. He then proceeded to immediately counteract his own statement by mentioning I would be able to purchase said beverage with the addition of a "secret sweetener" being added to the mix. Although I refused initially, he insisted I accept, becoming aggressive soon after which caused me to agree to his offer. This was when the strange activities escalated. Instead of going to make my coffee, he began to talk about his World of Warcraft account, bragging about his stats and how high level his character was. This went on for around 3 minutes and suffice to say, I wasn't impressed. He finally decided to do his job afterward and went to go make the coffee at the machine, but unfortunately he did not stop speaking. While making my coffee he complained to me about how his wife doesn't post about him on Facebook and how "She doesn't even fetch me a beer while I watch the game at night, I don't even know why I married her." Which provided an uncomfortable listening experience as an uneasy atmosphere filled the store.Let me remind you that it was only us two in the store at the time and there didn't seem to be anymore staff present. After finishing off my coffee, he said "Let me go get your sweetener, buddy~" and winked at me. He then quickly rushed through an employee door with my coffee and was gone for another 3 or 4 minutes, where at some point in time a strange odor emenated from the room he was using. Suddenly, he barged back in with an exhausted demeanour, sweating and panting profusely; the room now smelled of body odor instead of the mysterious stench. For some reason the coffee had become a significantly lighter color than what it was before, and it smelled even stranger than the room or Justin himself. I asked what he put in, but he kept looking at me intensely and licking his lips, so I decided it would be best not to instigate anything. I took my drink and paid for it. He didn't even say anything to me, just staring and licking while smacking his lips louder and louder as I proceeded with the transaction. In fear of what he could have put into my drink, as soon as I left the Starbucks I put it straight into the bin and decided today wasn't for coffee.Overall an extremely uncomfortable visit, do not go here, atleast while Justin is present. Avoid him and his sweetener at all costs.

By far, the best Starbucks in town with the friendliest baristas around! I frequent this particular location at least 3 times a week, and the drive thru is always fairly speedy.

I stopped here for a coffee drink and enjoyed it. I had the caramel crunch frappuccino, which was very sweet. The location definitely seems like it is mainly for drive through or takeout business, and did not really have any character inside. There is seating, though, just nothing overly comfortable. I would definitely get coffee to go from here, though.

Food is fine. Drinks don’t taste like other locations. And the employees aren't afraid to show you just how much they dislike children and aren’t afraid to make you feel like you’re a huge inconvenience to them.Kid-friendliness: NOT kid friendly atmosphere or employees
