The waitress was delightful, attentive but not hovering. That said, the real highlight was the food. We got a variety of empanadas which were fantastic. My partner’s chicken Tarquin was amazing. Perfect balance between the creamy sauce covering the boneless chicken chunks and the tender-crisp veggies. My first visit, I’ll be back soon

The food and the service and the staff and the atmosphere are all excellent. And on top of all this it doesn't cost a fortune. This is definitely a new favorite in Sioux Falls. There's nothing about this experience that will disappoint you.

We enjoyed a business supper at this fabulous Argentinian restaurant, Tarquin. We were surprised as we entered the establishment decorated with an eclectic style of Argentine style. Tables and chairs mostly with some booths along one wall. The wine selection is immense. The wait staff was kind and helpful. The menu can be found on their website or TripAdvisor. We ordered appetizer of Homemade empanada dough filled with spiced ground beef, onions, red peppers, and jalapenos. Entrees we chose: Parrillada Argentina
Authentic Argentinian grilled meat cuts, sausage, served with homemade chimichurri sauce. Serves 2-3 people and the Churrasco
Grilled hand cut steak, paired with fresh homemade chimichurri sauce made with freshly chopped herbs. Served with a side of French fries. The meat was so delicious and grilled perfectly. We highly recommend this Argentine experience, so fun and come hungry because the servings are huge.

Kid-friendliness: The restaurant is upscale casual. Older children would enjoy more than younger kids.

This restaurant was beautiful. They have done a wonderful job. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I ordered the T-Bone which was cooked medium rare exactly as I requested. It was presented beautifully on a cutting board. Unfortunately, it was extremely bland. I ended up adding quite a bit of salt for taste. We will try them out again.

This past Valentine’s Day, my girlfriend and I had dinner at Tarquin Argentinian Restaurant, and despite the initial mix-up with our reservation, the staff handled everything with professionalism and care. The restaurant was packed, but they still managed to seat us quickly and make us feel welcomed.

Our server, Richard, was incredibly attentive, checking on us throughout the night even with how busy it was. I had the Milanesa Napolitana, which was just perfect, and my girlfriend had a seafood dish with shrimp, fish, and rice that she really enjoyed.

The real standout moment, though, was the honesty of the staff. My girlfriend accidentally left her purse behind, and when we called the next day, they had kept it safe for her. That kind of integrity says a lot about a place.

Overall, what could have been a stressful night turned into a great experience thanks to their hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

Amazing quality and service. We got the lamb and the duck dishes. Cooked to perfection and one of the best duck dishes I have ever consumed. You can dress up or keep casual, but this location allows for both. Wine is available by the bottle and the Argentina-based decor really sets the mood. Prepare to be dazzled.

Don’t underestimate the location. Sometimes gems are found in the strip mall next to a jimmy johns.

This instantly became my favorite place in Sioux Falls! Amazing food and priced very reasonable. The atmosphere is fantastic as well. I can't recommend this place enough. A great and perfect date night place, or want a place to treat yourself to a good meal. And it would be good for families too. It's really a unique great spot.

This place definitely earned 5 stars 🌟 We had a fantastic date night here. We started with empenadas which were so well done. I had the NY strip with chimichurri which was perfectly done and flavorful. I had the potato cake or omelet as described in the menu (can't recall the name) but it was fantastic! My husband had the Canelones which he loved. The prices were fantastic and matched a great quality, nice meal. Their wine prices and selection is definitely on point as well! We highly recommend and will absolutely be back.
