TARQUIN Argentinian Restaurant

Decided to try somewhere new on our trip into Sioux Falls. Tried several dishes, all were amazing, and the empanadas were the best I've had in a long time. This isn't far off of I-90, and the service and food were both excellent. We will definitely be back!

After reading so many posts about this place, when my husband and I were in Sioux Falls last night and wanting to find a place to eat, I suggested Tarquin. We walked in and found the ambiance immediately soothing and inviting. We were seated right away, and found several appealing dishes on the menu. I chose the Tarquin Chicken, and my husband decided on Milanesa Napoliano. The chicken was amazingly tender and flavorful, and the roasted veggies were a delicious accompaniment. The only thing missing was a slice of crusty bread (or a spoon) to use to finish the incredible sauce. My husband enjoyed the steak topped with marinara and mozzarella cheese, and found the French fries to be perfectly crispy and seasoned on the outside while being fluffy on the inside. We finished our dinner by sharing a slice of cake, the name of which I don’t remember, but it had peaches in and on it. Before we finished eating, we already made plans to return with friends. Jessica was an attentive server and answered my husband’s questions about how an Argentinian restaurant ended up in South Dakota. Don’t miss this experience!

I couldn’t have asked for a better date night!! The atmosphere was cozy and romantic, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable on the menu, and the food was so good! Highly recommend

One of the best restaurants I have been to in a long time. Food was so amazing. Luis was a FANTASTIC server. I can’t believe I had never been here until now, but it is now my favorite restaurant in town.

Found this restaurant online as we drove in to Sioux Falls from Chicago today. Wanted to reward ourselves with a great meal after a long drive, and Tarquin was truly a gem. We started with the empanadas which were superb. My wife and I had salad and split the 14 ounce ribeye - very tasty and perfectly grilled. Plenty of other sides available.Finished off with their very moist and delicious chocolate cake. Service was excellent, presentation beautiful, inside is very exquisite. We couldn’t believe the place wasn’t packed tonight as this is the best meal we’ve had on our road trip from Virginia. Will certainly eat here again next time we are in town. Roger and Wendy

Went for our wedding anniversary supper. Took a chance and tried something new and were overwhelmingly satisfied with everything. Our waiter was extremely attentive and helpful. Checked in multiple times without being obnoxious and was extremely courteous. Food was delicious and filling! Figured with price points like they had that we'd have smaller portions but again, blown away with the size of the portions of the meals and sides. Empanadas were phenomenal. Husband and I both ordered New York strips and they were cooked perfectly. Wine and dessert were also well above expectations. 10/10 will be back

Amazing!!! Perfect spot for a date night. Service was excellent, food was phenomenal, and the atmosphere is soft, warm, and inviting. It’s outside of town, but well worth a few extra minute drive. Highly recommend the steak, and definitely start with some empanadas. Outstanding 🙌

Absolutely great place. The service was great, friendly, accommodating, and extremely welcoming. On top of the service the food was great all around, it is clear the food is done with care here. I had the ribeye and found it done well and the sides that came with it were so big I wasn't able to finish the food in one sitting.

The atmosphere is very relaxed and comfortable, many tables have cushioned chairs and if all are like the ones we had then they are very comfortable. We felt the atmosphere was great for a rainy day. I would recommend this restaurant for the food and service, both of which were excellent.
