My steak was burnt on the outside and overcooked. Salmon was ice cold. Waitress stopped at table once. Was there exactly 2 hours. Never again!

The place should be jammed packed at all times. A bit off the beaten road, but not really
Aidaher was very attentive and made sure we wanted for nothing

I had high hopes after reading all the reviews. What a disappointment. First, we are waiting by the door and were handed menus to look over after reviewing the menu we realized we had different menus. As some were missing pages or just not enough room in book for the entire menu not sure. We ordered the platter of meats (most were cold), skirt steak was still purple in center, chicken was dry and a couple we had no idea what they were. Our waitress, took our order and only came back once at end of meal. We had reservations for 7pm, and were sat at the tinest table possible that felt like it would tip...it wobbled as were we trying to cut food right next to wine racks. So one of us was holding the table while the other cut meat. The bar tender had to get wine from behind us, he did bring us a complimentary glass (best part of experience). At the end they did discount our meal, but don't feel it would be worth a second try.

Been here for special occasions several times previously. Came here tonight for our wedding anniversary and it was anything but special. Granted, it was busy but that is no excuse for the poor, slow service and incomplete orders we received. We had reservations and arrived a few minutes early. Due to a packed house we understandably waited a few minutes for a table. Then we were shoehorned into a tiny claustrophobic space that we had to reject after a few minutes because it was too uncomfortable. We were moved to an acceptable booth where we waited for over 20 minutes to even be acknowledged by the wait staff. Our waiter had no idea who was supposed to be serving us, apologized for the wait and promptly took our order. He returned within a minute with our drinks and we didn’t see him again until we were almost finished with our meal well over an hour later. It took forever to get our order and when it arrived it was the main course. The appetizer we ordered was forgotten until I asked and was delivered halfway through the meal. My steak was supposed to come with two sides but only the salad was served, the potatoes were not. The food tonight was average at best. Warm, not hot as if it sat forgotten under a heat lamp for some time. The service from being seated to being forgotten and forgotten again was truly memorable in a way not to be soon forgotten. The food out of the kitchen was nothing close to what we had experienced here before. From the incomplete order and forgotten appetizers to the general presentation on the plate and lukewarm warm food on delivery it was certainly a disappointment. The excuse we got at the end of our meal was that it was just so busy. Unacceptable. If you cannot handle every seat in the restaurant being filled and deliver quality in all aspects of the process, then you have too many tables, too many seats or not enough help. Tonight was our anniversary. An exceptionally regrettable occasion at your establishment. I give you this review so you can improve. One person was not responsible for tonight’s failure. It was the entire team.

The only regret about trying Tarquin is that we didn't come sooner! My husband and I shared the Parriddila and it was phenomenal. Our entire experience was perfection from start to finish. We were greeted immediately upon entering with warm a hello from several staff members, our waitress was very friendly, attentive and gave great recommendations, our glasses never went dry and the food... was outstanding. Everything was cooked to perfect and the flavors can't be beat. We will definitely be back soon and often!

Our second time dining here and it was lovely. Not super busy on a Friday night for our anniversary dinner. We had the January special with a bottle of wine, empanada appetizer, 2 entrees, and 2 huge cake slices for $150. I had the lamb chops and they are so good. Our server Jenni was amazing and gave great recommendations when it came to which wine to get and which empanadas to try. Truly a hidden gem restaurant, absolutely worth going to.
