Love love love! This was an incredible experience start to finish, was so quick and simple putting the order in at the shop and she was so lovely and kind with such a big selection of flavors and fillings. I ordered a cake for a kids birthday party on a slightly short notice, only two weeks, and it was perfect and for such a good price!! The kids loved it and I was so happy.
Cant recommend The Cake Lady enough!

The Cake Lady and her team used the invitation for my nephew's baby shower as inspiration for the cake, and it was honestly perfect. We had so many compliments on the cake, I couldn't be happier. The flavors were delicious too. Thank you!

Wow!!! The Cake Lady was amazing for our wedding day. We ordered a 2 tiered cake for the bride and groom and 3.5 sheet cakes for our guests!! By the end of the night - there was not a single slice left. My grandma ate 7 pieces! I couldn’t recommend the cake lady more. We loved working with them - and the delivery on the day of was great!

I NEVER post reviews. Especially bad ones. But when you spend over $100 (including a tip) on something you ordered well in advance, you expect it to be at least acceptable or close to what you want.

I did the order through texts, on purpose! That way I could send a picture of what I want for reference, and for them to be able to go back to when designing it. I kept the conversation and went back to make sure what I was asking for was clear and communicated correctly. It was. I asked for bright, neon, rainbow colors like the picture below with the pink top. I also requested her name be on the front of the cake. I asked that the rainbow start with purple on the bottom. The picture below is what I asked for (pink top) and what I got on the right....

When I reached out, there was a very not sincere apology. Just "Apologies this was not acceptable to you." To me, as a business owner, you can clearly see below that they are not even close to each other. So this is on them 100%. Her whole party theme is neon rainbow, and I got what looks like a boy cake with little flowers. The name thing on top is something I ordered last minute to have her name on it, glad I did that. I supplied the Troll dolls. The suckers were never asked for, and those were so heavy they fell over on the car ride home and ruined the top. The suckers also did not have wrappers on them, so the trolls hair was stuck to every single one of them. The only solution she gave me, was to give me some store credit to use.... No thanks. Take accountability. Say sorry. And try to make it right. Especially when the customer did nothing wrong and tried to be respectful coming to you about it.

We had originally booked with the Cake Lady for our wedding. We scheduled three in-person tastings, and each time there was either a "family emergency" or "illness" as to why the owner could not meet with us. The first time, we were never even on their schedule in the bakery despite scheduling confirmation via text. My significant other drove three hours each time to attend these meetings, and not a single text/phone call was given to notify us of their cancellation. We were told someone from the bakery would contact us the next day to reschedule, and after a week went by each time, we had to reach out to the bakery to set up another meeting. We had to have this initial wedding consultation with one of the bakers who did not know the pricing, rentals, or paperwork aspect of the events. She told us they have contracts in the back, but she was unable to find any, so we were instructed to "call back in a few months to make sure they still had our date reserved". We were never offered the opportunity to even taste any of the cakes, and were told we had to schedule an official meeting for a tasting, even though we had already scheduled three.Over the next several months, I reached out to the business via text (their method of communication), and never received a single response. We had finally had enough and decided to go through another bakery. We were informed our deposit was non-refundable, despite how we were treated and the course of events that had taken place.I am not one to leave bad reviews, but I want others who are considering booking this business for their wedding to be cautious! We are very dissatisfied with how we were treated and they did not do anything to make the situation right. They do not run a very professional business and have very poor communication. We cannot attest to the quality and taste of the cakes as we were not allowed to do a tasting.

Let me first start by saying I usually don't post bad reviews, having worked in the service industry, but this I couldn't not post. The ordering process was ok and done through texting. Typically professional businesses would have an order form online or utilize emailing for back and forth conversations. However, the communication was pleasant to order.I originally ordered a 6 in cake that would have been $52, then after thinking about the design of what I wanted thought the 8 in cake would work better. I upgraded to the 8 in which put the price at $80 plus tax. I was fine with that, but when I went to pick the cake up I paid with my credit card and it asked for a tip... a tip? I'm already paying $80 for a cake, I was going to cancel the tip but was not given the option to, my total bill ended up being over $100.It gets worse... when I walked in I saw fruit flies flying around. They did what I asked as far as design wise, base color of the frosting was purple, however there was black smear on the top which should have been fixed (photo attached). Not only that, the flavor was supposed to be cookies and cream and the cake itself did not have any flavor to it. I could have baked a better cake. The buttercream frosting on the outside was very bland.I'm not sure if the other reviewers raving about how good these cakes are has actually ever had a good cake, because this was not it....

I honestly don’t think there was much effort put into the cake. When I went to pick it up all the other cakes were beautiful. Her Facebook is also full of nice cakes. But mine just looked like it was in the back burner.I had to remove a lot of it and go buy toys to make it look better. The pikachu was hideous, removed that. The poke balls were foam…when they’re usually Rice Krispies. His name looked like it was cut out with play dough cut outs. The white dots were supposed to be stars….The first photo is what I got. The second photo is what I ended up with. The third photo was a reference. It also tasted very mediocre. Not worth 155.00
