The Social is a great venue for events in Sioux Falls! Have held the Screams By Night Halfway to Halloween Con two years in a row and we have nothing but great things to say about the venue.

The music is extraordinary but the venue not so much (The Social in Sioux Falls, SD) . I asked to take a photo before the performance and the event manager denied my request, asking me to wait until the end of performance. The reasons she gave was to insure all guests were seated. I had arrived 30 minutes early and was seated already. At the end the lights came on and the ambiance changed for my photo opportunity. Drinks are expensive, with glass of wine at $12 and NA mocktail in can of $7. Then there is this weird wired barrier between seating and stage that obscures complete view of performers. Parking is difficult and somewhat crazy.

This place is small but mighty. I’ve been here for a candlelight concert and for an artisan market. Both did not disappoint. Parking is easy, there’s a cement and dusty parking lot, for the event I did have to go into that overflow which was a bit dusty with attire but still nice to have parking quickly with no real issues.
I love the artisan market, highlighting small business and local artisans! Highly recommend. Inside they have nice bathrooms, a bar that’s even open for the market. The candlelight event was well setup with a stage. I really like this venue

A beautiful place for a wedding. All in one area with great parking, set up and clean up, indoor/outdoor conveniences, stairs and ramp accessibility, clean bathrooms, great sound system, dressing room with light up mirrors for hair and make-up, worked well with all businesses that catered for the night, clean, safe and good drink selection. The owner and her employees were nothing sort of spectacular. Kind, helpful, quick to respond to many questions, knowledgeable and one step ahead of everything you could possibly need. Made a very nice event for all involved and a great start to some wonderful memories for the newlyweds. Thank You again for a wonderful adventure on 11/1/25.
