The Sandbar & Grill

It was an average bar and grill. Except for the walleye. Hard to have a conversation with your table because of the speakers being so loud. I guess that's expected at a bar and grill. There wasn't very many people at the time we were there so it was all speaker noise. Other than that, nice place to go but basic. And prices are on the higher side if you want anything special

This was a broccoli cheese soup..... Immediately, it tasted sour and had a displeasing taste.... I stopped eating it after several bites...... Nothing else was eaten after this meal...... Around seven o'clock food poisoning symptoms began with pain, chills and nausea...... We called the Sandbar and the individual who answered the phone after we explained the situation, said the soup was pulled and then he said, well, it's gone now. We let them know that there was a food poisoning issue, and he seemed very apathetic toward the situation. We had a friend call after that to inquire, if anyone had called about the soup because there was a concern that there was something wrong with the soup and the person then said no one had called. He also said the soup was gone when he got to work, but then he said to our friend who called that he had some of the soup and he was fine so that didn't really make any sense either. At the time of this letter, I am dealing with the food poisoning symptoms which only could have been caused by this soup. My main displeasure is that they seemed very apathetic, and then we're very dishonest as well.

Very nice place. A group of us had lunch. The flat bread pizzas were good. But the rest of our food had no flavor. The hot turkey sandwich was horrible. The wait staff was non communicative.

I am disappointed
Management mislead our group of 40.
We made reservations months ago
Called ahead a couple of times and again to confirm that they could handle our group
We get here and have one waitress for the group
I asked the bartender to speak with a manager - he said he was
Trying to understand why we only have one waitress - they said they could serve 4 bus loads.
My guess is that because we will not be back in the area - it is acceptable to to have poor service waiting 40 minutes to take the order for the first table
I can just imagine how long it will take for our food

We ordered the walleye fish tacos for takeout and they were delicious. Great portion size as well.

We stop here often and always have great food. Today waitress was great as always but we were served cold waffle fries, when I informed waitress she willingly went and got us new orders. Those were hot but must have been reheated in microwave. They were not freshly made. It’s too bad as we like that place.

We have had Leah as a server on the patio and she has been great every time! She is a Sweetie and does her best every time. Thank you LEAH ! Hope I spelt it right

Great service and wonderful food here! There is a reason we come here when we are in town. Love the patio area and the fact it is enclosed by glass to block the wind.

The bar tender Austin was good. He poured a great drink! I ordered the pulled pork burrito to go. I got back to my room to eat, and the burrito was 99.99% rice inside. I paid $16.00 for a tortilla and rice. What a rip-off!!! I was looking at the reviews about the food afterward, don't waste your time eating at this place.
