Umami came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. I LOVE it - great food, great service, and I could have a conversation with the party I arrived with.

Dietary restrictions: I can't do gluten and there was plenty on the menu for me to choose from. Best fried rice I've ever had.

Stopped out for breakfast. It was delicious. So much food. The breakfast bowl had tots, egges, cheese and sausage gravy. Spot on flavor and i got free coffee to boot. Staff was friendly and very informative.

She made us a custom Valentine’s Day dinner for 2 and it did not disappoint! My husband and I enjoyed it and will be back for more!

What a great buffet! Went there today (Saturday) and enjoyed everything. Plenty of food and what flavors. For patrons who are going tomorrow (Sunday) enjoy. worth every penny! Jess and Dj you did an awesome job!

Jess catered my Rehersal Dinner and Wedding in October 2023. It's now March and people are still raving about the food saying it's the best wedding food they've ever had and asking who the chef was to pass along for other events. ❤️ She went way above and beyond! Shes very affordable, professional, kind and fun. Don't miss out on having her for your event.

My husband and I stopped there for lunch today and the food is delicious and creatively prepared. We are keto/low carb we were pleasantly surprised to see options that fit into our food preferences. I had the spaghetti squash alfredo with chicken that was absolutely amazing. I now have a new comfort food favorite. It's a great, low key relaxing place to have breakfast, brunch or lunch. I highly recommend it.

Umami- it's the fifth flavor profile & means "the essence of deliciousness" in Japanese. It is also the name of a little gem of a cafe, located in Northern Sioux Falls, that sure lives up to its namesake!My mama and I celebrated my birthday lunch there and were so delighted by the experience! Jess, the owner, was a one-(wo)man band today but she absolutely nailed our Umami eggs Benedict! Two perfectly poached eggs (definitely farm-fresh because the yolks were a deep, creamy, orange color) atop thick sliced bacon and served upon freshly-baked, crisp, light and airy Umami bread, drizzled with a Chipotle hollandaise. So delic!! ?‍? ?As we left, we took a peek in their carry out cooler and spyed some New England Clam chowder. When Jess told me she was originally from Vermont (and knew what clam chowder was supposed to taste like), I knew that was coming home with me, too! My husband got to enjoy it for lunch (of course I had a bite) and she wasn't kidding, it was on point, fresh and flavorful!!So, if you're looking for a fun little breakfast/lunch adventure (the cafe is located in the Signature Flight Support building at the airport) featuring fresh, homemade food and a creative, ever-changing menu, I'd invite you to check it out- soon!! ?P.s.
