Had dinner, 5pm, on a Tuesday. Pretty slow, so it came quickly. Only one server, which I thought was odd. She did great though! Atmosphere is great! My sandwich was soaked in coleslaw, which made it a mess.

IMO, the best Chislic in town. If you're looking for "real" old-fashioned lamb Chislic (not fake beef Chislic), then this is the place. Exceptional menu options. Served in bowl, not on wood stick. Saves on restaurant expenses. Remember, as much as we would like, we can't travel back in time to 1960's + 1970's; but the Chislic taste will be the reminder of the past.

What's going on Urban Chislic? We get take out several times a month from you. Always bone in wings. The quality has been extremely inconsistent as of late. Size and quality. Last month, I think the fry cook left them in the fryer for an hour ? But, tonight no one answered the phone when we called to order so we simply drove there and were going to simply place our order at the window and wait. Except when we got there, there was no one in sight inside the restaurant. We rang the bell. Waited 5 minutes. No one. Didn't see any wait staff but all of the tv's were on. Parking lot had a few cars....Bummed we drove there and couldn't give the wings one last shot....but atleast we know we can take you off of our dining out list:(
Called at 6:40 rang and rang. Called again at 6:47. Same thing. Pulled up to window at 6:54. Sat for several mins before ringing the bell. No one was in sight. Not one server ever came to the the kitchen for food etc.. the booths were empty. Waited 5 mins after ringing the bell before we left. Parking lot had a handful of cars in it.....

Felt awkward because a sever was wearing a tank top that showed basically all of her bra in the back, could work on a better dress code but other than that everything was really good.

We dined in. My wife had the steak chislic, which was delicious. I had the pork sandwich which was featured on DDD. It was delicious as well. Our server was very good, but I didn't catch her name - she had no name tag. The beer was cold and the food was hot. We will definitely visit again next time we're in SF.

There is unfortunately nothing for me to say I have visited this location 3 times inside of business hours and each time the location was closed. I will update when I'm able to order here in the mean time you might want to come here with a backup plan.
Chislic is the local dish and there were loads of varieties with loads of sides. I had mash but there was green veg and rice etc. The woman server was very friendly and helpful. Loved it. If I was there longer I would have gone back.

What better place to get Chislic when passing through SD than a place called “Urban Chislic”. The lamb Chislic was amazing; best I’ve had to date. Interior is pretty no frills and feels like a suburban chain joint. Decent beer lineup; mixture of a few local craft brews and your standard domestics. I highly recommend Benson’s Buff Bowl…Chislic, rice, and veggies…all prepared perfectly. The cheese curbs were also fantastic; piping hot and incredibly salty. Unfortunately both the fries and chicken wings were over fried and lacked any kind of flavor. But if you’re looking for some tasty Chislic, you’ll find it here!
Vegetarian options: Why would you go to a Chislic restaurant if you’re vegetarian?

We ordered 3 chislic salads. We went and picked up our order from the drive thru. The order was not done which was fine. We waited about 5 mins, took our meals back to work. As we opened them up we knew right away that it looked bad. Took a bite and the meat was so over cooked and hard to chew. So disgusting. I called right away and was told we would get a refund ( as we were working and not driving back there for another meal.) I have now called 3 different times to talk to a manager as we never got the refund. Im always told there are not there and they would have them call me. Still no phone call. Very disappointed in this place as we spent $65.
