This place is so fun! Very unique with lots to do. I would say the food is OK - but we also went after 10pm and I assume the end-of-night food isn't fair to judge upon. Otherwise the atmosphere was GREAT. Would recommend.

About a week ago, I tried vinyl for the first time. I think the business is cool as a social space. It has a classic rock theme, and it's fun and bright inside. My issue with this place is actually the tacos being low quality. I ordered two crispy mango chicken tacos, and I would consider bumping my rating up a whole star if y'all switched to corn tortillas. The fried chicken looked and tasted like somebody in the kitchen ran out of frozen tenders and tried ti make their own in the BoH, and the mangos/sauce were so sweet and distracted from the food. The guac was the best thing I tried there, and the service was good in general. Overall, definitely not coming back here for food. Maybe if a bunch of people I know want to go and have a few beers in a nice environment. But in terms of tacos, I'll keep looking in Sioux Falls.

I am a Sioux Falls local. And I was sooo excited to try this place because everyone talks about it. The vibe and ambiance was really cool. However the food and the staff were just not the best. You would be better off going to Jackys or Chevys!! Sorry just being honest

We were looking for a place to grab a quick bit for lunch. I am so glad I found Vinyl Taco on our road trip. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was amazing. I love theme bars, and this is such a cool spot. I love everything from the Mexican flare to the rock music played from vinyl records and unique touches throughout the entire restaurant. I am sad that this place is not closer to me. The cilantro lime chicken taco was my favorite. My fiancée doesn't usually order chicken for his burrito. He did this time, OMG! That smoked chicken was amazing. And I LOVE that when you order a margarita, you get the actual ounces in alcohol drink without the ice. Fantastic experience.

I always enjoy my experience at vinyl taco! Food & drinks are tasty and on the bar side there are fun games to play with friends. There is a bartender on the bar side that has been serving for years and is always friendly! I recommend this place to folks from out of town when they want to try new places in Sioux Falls & usually the #1 go to spot with my friends! Thanks Vinyl Taco!

The tacos here are so good! The mango one is our favorite, but a close second is the cilantro lime. I wasn't a giant fan of the shrimp taco, but they were all good! They have really good variety. The cheesecake dessert is also good! The interior of the restaurant is a really cool vibe and the service was good too.

Food is always delicious. The BEST margarita's in SF in my opinion and I love me a margarita! Service is hit or miss sometimes, typically at the bar. But the atmosphere is fun, unique and different than other restaurants!

Love this place...glad our original plan fell through so we stopped here! What a fun restaurant with great food and music! The two tacos I had were delicious...chicken tinga and carne asada. Both were flavorful, topped with fresh ingredients...the chicken has a kicked with it too. I tried the fried ice cream, and I agree that it was ok but had too much crunchy cereal for my liking. The queso was great along with their chips. Hands down quick service too...overall excellence and will definitely come back when we come back to the area.

We stopped here while having to kill time and needed to grab lunch between events. In my youngest son's words "this place is amazing". He and I both grabbed the steak fajita tacos, and we shared queso. He had never had fried ice cream so of course he had to try that afterwards. The steak fajita tacos were flavorful, loaded with peppers and onions, sour cream, and cheese. The fried ice cream was loaded with crispy cereal flakes which he said took away from the ice cream flavor. The service was fairly fast for being packed during lunch on Saturday. They didn't have a lot of local beers on tap which was somewhat surprising. I really liked the vibe of this restaurant, and they played really good music. If we are in Sioux Falls again, I definitely want to stop here for more tacos.
