I stopped by Vinyl Taco for the first time for lunch today. The atmosphere is cool, and I like the music vibe
The server was prompt and brought my water out quickly. She was helpful with the menu and answered all of my questions.
I ordered 2 cilantro lime chicken tacos with rice. The rice was okay... just okay. As for the tacos, the same thing...average at best. The chicken tasted like it was precooked and had been sitting a while.
I really wanted to like this place as it is a great location, and the vibe is cool. If it weren't for the server and the vibe, this would have been a 2 rating.
If I drank alcohol, I would probably check it out again, I don't, though.
If you enjoy a drink and a cool vibe, you will probably enjoy this place. If you are a food connoisseur, you may be disappointed.

Super cool’s vibe and great food. I showed up literally 10 minutes before the kitchen closed (sorry!) and they were super nice. Great service. Had my server pick out his four favorite tacos and they were straight fire. Def coming back my next time in town.

I went here for the first time with a group of friends for dinner at 6:30 pm. It was my first time going out postpartum with my child. When I sat down my drink order was taken and brought back to me. As soon as I took my baby out of the car seat to let a friend hold Jimmy the manager came storming over to our table and yelled across the table “the baby has to go we’re 21 and over”. I was embarrassed infront of all of my friends. My husband called after I got home and was told my friend group was just on the wrong side. My son would have been fine to be there if our table would have moved. I was never told this I was just sternly talked to and embarrassed in front of everyone. The manager has HORRIBLE communication skills if this is how you talk to customers. My friend group would have been happy to move tables given we were in the wrong section and that was on us. Secondly, don’t take my order and bring me my order and not say anything about us being in the incorrect section. The door was opened for me so I didn’t see it said 21 and over on it, which again is MY FAULT. But simply be respectful come over and tell me that. Don’t just yell across a table “the baby has to go”. With the way the manager Jimmy embarrassed me and talked to our friend group I wouldn’t be surprised if this business has declining customers if he continues to talk with customers like this.

Loved the menu being a vinyl. Had the proud Mary pina colada which was delicious. Got 2 barbocoa tacos... the first bite brought tears to my eyes it was so delicious. Also got rice and beans which were just as good! Will definitely stop again when I come back through!

JAson was the server for the group, one of the best servers I have come across. Jason was super attentive to the entire groups needs and kept my Mellow Yellow filled the entire time we were there. There are tons of games and activities to partake in. Great place to show up to with a group.
Kid-friendliness: This is more of an adult place, but you could bring kids here as well.
I can’t say enough about this place … Jason was our server there were 8 of us last night he did an exceptional job looked like he might have been the only one serving n was quick n on top of things n he was very friendly n pleasant .. food was great no complaints drinks maybe a little higher in price but the atmosphere 10/10 brings me back to the 80’s love it so much definitely be back prolly more for the atmosphere n service !
