So...visiting my folks in Sioux Falls. As a surprise (EARLY!) birthday thing, they ordered a cake from the Walmart Bakery.(@.@) It was freaking awesome. Not only a great cake, but the decorations were just on point! No, it wasn't super fancy, just Happy Birthday & some flowers, however, I've tried to do some basic lettering on cakes. It is no where NEAR as easy as you'd think. This lettering was perfect, the flowers were well done and the cake was just awesome.Who ever is working in the bakery is doing some really great work! Thank you for making a (seriously early) birthday cake so special!

I usually go to the Walmart on Louise but by mistake, I chose this Walmart when I placed my online order. I had never even been there before but I had a very pleasant experience. When I arrived at the store, the pickup area was covered by an awning which was nice because I had forgotten my sunglasses and the sun was really bright. When I called to let them know that I was there to pick up my groceries, they answered on the second ring and were extremely friendly. Every other time I have picked up my groceries from a Walmart, it has taken them at least 5 to 10 minutes to come outside with my stuff. However, this time, Suzie came out with my groceries in about a minute! She was super down-to-earth and nice. I tried to give her a tip and she wouldn't accept it! I thought that was extremely noble of her. I have a very good opinion of this Walmart now. Even though it is further away from my home than the Walmart on Louise, I think I will go to this Walmart from now on.

Well the machine ate my $20.00 by then I asked to look at the cameras and they didn't believe me. My kids and I know what I tried to stick in. But I will never go back to this Walmart .

I have used Walmarts on line grocery pickup for several months now but I think I am done! On 4 different occasions I have had numerous items that were not included when I picked them up. The store did not include them even though I was charged for them. When I call them they make excuses and then require me to drive 20 miles back to the store to get the items they forgot to include. This last time I asked them to just refund my money. I was told this would take 5-7 business days to get the money back. Upon calling the corporate offices I was told the refund was never started! They are stealing from me! How many times did I miss something that they didn't put in my groceries? This store at 5200 E 60th ST North in Sioux Falls SD is the worst. They are stealing from us on the online grocery app. Its not that things were out of stock they just did not include them with my order. So make sure if you use this store for grocery pickup that you look over the entire list before you leave the store. And if something is missing just call corporate because up there on the north end of sioux falls you will be ripped off. And then they will lie right to your face and tell you a refund is on the way when in fact it is not. I told them I would take a lie detecor test because I am not a liar or a theif but they are. I am sick and tired of the poor customer service that Walmart gives you while stealing from you at the same time. DO NOT USE THE ONLINE GROCERY APP. Looks like HyVee or Aldis will be getting the 1,000.00 a month I spend at the store. SHAME ON YOU WALMART YOU ARE THEIVES AND LIARS!!!!

My main issue happened at our last visit. This Walmart sells alcohol and we consistently purchase it here when we do our shopping. When we checked out, the manager came over and checked my husband's ID as usual. Except this time they also asked for my ID. When I did not provide it, they said they could not sell us the wine. This was unacceptable for many reasons. First, we shop here once or twice a week and usually purchase alcohol, and this is the first time this has happened. Then the "manager" told me it was the law that they have to card everyone in the group when someone is purchasing alcohol. Even if this were true (it's not), that would make it impossible for a family establishment where people bring their kids to sell alcohol at all. Your company isn't really suggesting they card shopper's children. In fact, the woman ahead of us had two teenagers with her and her boys were not carded when she purchased her alcohol. I was then told there were exceptions. When I explained to the employee that if this were actually "the law" then there would be no exceptions and you would not actually be able to sell alcohol at all. There was extensive conversation about Walmart's policy, which all led back to the same point; if you stood by carding every person in a group, you would not be able to sell alcohol at all. I don't care what your policy actually is, but the only person that needs to show their ID is the person purchasing alcohol. What happens after that is the sole responsibility of the person who purchased it. That is the law and you can look it up. And maybe if this "policy" were adhered to every single time, it wouldn't have been such an inconvenience, since I would've known to have my ID on hand. Oh, and maybe hire more people who are old enough to ring up alcohol sales so we don't have to wait 5-10 minutes to get checked out. Not joking, we waited almost ten minutes once.

Probably the cleanest Wal-Mart I’ve visited.

I think the grocery pick up is a great idea they always choose fresh vegetables & fruit for me and show me before putting it in my car...very easy and convenient when ur to busy to shop or u want to avoid the people

Oh. My. Goodness. I'll try and keep this short and as sweet as I can. 1st issue: I order groceries online and go to pick it up and I'm told only half of my order came in so I need to go over the list of items I purchased and tell them which ones are missing. Its NEGATIVE BELOW OUT and my phone dies because I have been at work all day so I go home, make a list of all the items im missing, and then call the store and let them know and theyll get it ready for me to pick up the next day. I explain that some of the items im missing are needed for a potluck I was having at work the next day so I would need to pick it up early in the morning before I head to work. The CS agent said that was fine and that all of my things would be waiting for me the next morning. She also said that since it was their error that half of my groceries were missing that it would be refunded back to me. The next morning comes and NO ONE IS AT GROCERY PICKUP. I wait, call SIX TIMES AND LEAVE 5 MESSAGES AND WAS HUNG UP ON ONCE. I sat trying to get a hold of someone for 15 minutes. I finally bang on the door and someone comes out and helps me load my car with the missing items. I ask the manager (who helped me load my groceries) about the refund and she said that they don't do refunds because of missing grocery orders. K fine. Horrible experience but fine. 2nd issue: Sale going on for small appliances and I naively order a coffee maker and toilet paper to be delivered to the store for pickup. I get an email on Wednesday March 7th telling me my order was ready for pick up and I had until the 15th to get it. I get another email on the 8th reminding me to pick up my order. On the 9th my boyfriends goes to pick up the order and they tell him it will not be ready until 421pm because "someone must have changed the time of the order". It wasn't me, it wasn't him, and I have received emails EVERY DAY since the ORDER CAME IN TELLING ME TO PICK UP MY ORDER. So why isn't it ready? So this time I wobble in (I have an autoimmune disease that attacks my joints so its hard to walk when I have a flare up) and ask to pick up my order. They tell me my order wont be ready until tomorrow. WHY?! I GOT AN EMAIL SAYING ITS IN THE STORE ON THE 7TH. I GOT ANOTHER EMAIL ON THE 8TH REMINDING ME TO PICK UP MY ORDER . GOT ANOTHER EMAIL ON THE 9TH TELLING ME TO PICK UP MY ORDER. But I go in TWICE and its not there? Seriously? I ask for a manager but they say that there isn't a manager here at the moment that would be able to assist me. Of course not. So I cancelled my order and bought my stuff somewhere else, which everyone should do because Walmart, especially this one, stinks like a moldy sock submerged in bleu cheese sauce.
