The entry and foyer are a little helter skelter but do not let this turn you away.
On a road trip on Christmas found this to be one of the few places open and wasn't hoping for much, but was I wrong!
They have a selection of Americanized Chinese food like fried sweet and sour, but save that for those that don't know what Chinese food is.
I sampled several of the dim sum and tried a couple of the entrees. The pork belly was phenomenal. The five spice was fragrant, and reminded me of a Chinese dish I had in Malaysia. The dumplings melted in your mout, and everything was superbly fresh.
As it was a holiday it was very short staffed. The attendant ran the whole room, serving multiple guests and didn't skip a single beat.
If you love Chinese you have to make this a part of your dining experience.

The service was very friendly, and I enjoyed the dim sum. I’ll definitely be back to try more from their menu.

First time, great taste and the Asian family atmosphere. Yummy House has a desert menu, not usual to our experiences and the custard filled biscuits were delicious.

You need to try this restaurant! - The only word I have is… WOW! This food tasted authentic and you could tell it was made to order. The waitstaff was courteous. And the owner waived at us when we walked in and when we left. It was such a welcoming vibe. The food was amazing! We are excited to return!

Extremely disappointed... came to eat and waited for our food for 45 minutes to have the server come out and say there was only ONE of our meals.. we were the only people in the restaurant until about 5 minutes before we just left.. terrible service!

It was our first time here and the food was so good! Loved every dish we got! Definitely recommend the steamed pork buns! Our waiter was very nice. The only downsides to our visit was that it was very warm inside the restaurant, granted it was 93 degrees outside today but I don’t think there was any AC inside the restaurant. It was uncomfortably warm and humid inside. Even ceiling and/or standing fans would’ve helped. Also, I don’t think the prices on the menu were all up to date because our bill came out to quite a bit more than we were expecting given the prices we saw on the menu. We just paid our bill though and didn’t question it. We will definitely come back again but probably on a cooler temperature day.

The sweet and sour chicken is excellent.
Edit: things have definitely gone down over there. The last couple times I ordered, the sauce was very oily and didn't have a pleasant taste, which is really too bad because that was my favorite sweet and sour chicken in town.

The dishes are well prepared, but the space is a bit chaotic. Great food.

I normally don't do reviews but felt like this one was a must. We ordered 2 egg rolls that were soft and mooshy. We also had the black pepper beef that tasted more like salted beef, also ordered the sweet and sour chicken that tasted like a funnel cake. I was starving and couldn't eat any of it.
This place is not for everyone. Meaning if you like Panda Express orange chicken don't come here. The only thing to eat when you come here is dim sum. I ordered pork potstickers and it came with an amazing side sauce the pork potstickers dough is green but it was really good. The grandma is definitely roaming around and there's herbs/greens in a box on the table waiting to be put away. I do not understand this cuisine enough to order anything other than dumplings. When I was here the dumpling I wanted was not available.

Best Chinese food in Sioux falls. Very authentic, very hospitable. Pig intestines are exquisite, the black pepper squid is delious and the chicken feet are a staple. If you have not eaten here please do.

They some how get better and better every time. The shrimp rolls are excellent.
Edit 5-28-22
They make homemade pastries, the ones pictured are a taro pastry, custard pastry, and a vanilla cream custard bun. All of them are exquisite. If you eat bear claws in the morning try these, you will never eat a bear claw again. They also make regular bread, it doesn't matter if there is not enough filling or its just plain bread. Their homemade bread alone is amazing.
