I’ve tried coming here literally 8 times in the last 2 months on different days, different times, etc and they are closed every time. Their number goes straight to voicemail. Idk if they’re closing or if they just don’t wanna work but ts

Absolutely the best Chinese food in Sioux Falls and the only Dim Sum anywhere around the area. Joyce and her mother Mai are really nice people, have gotten to know them both. Mai just recently was in the Hospital for a little over a week and at 90 yrs. of age, quite remarkable. They have gone to China for the month of February, so I will have to wait to get to enjoy their delicious food until they return. Some times the service is a little slow but it is because they have very little help and have to do everything, take the order, cook the food and bring it to the table, but because it is so good, I am more than willing to wait. I can't forget the fact that they keep the place so clean. I give them a 10 on a scale of 1-5.

I have attempted to eat at the Yummy House four times. The first two times I was able to get in. The food was good, the worker was friendly, but the service was a bit slow. The next two times I was unsuccessful at dining. The first failed attempt was on a Saturday during peak hours. A man with a young child was standing in the doorway blocking our entrance. He said "Closed. Closed." I checked the open sign, and it was turned off. Then I tried to go again last night, a Thursday night at 5:30. The restaurant was dark. I checked the hours online, and it said it would be open. It isn't too bad of a place, but when it's only open a randomized 50% of the time, there's no sense in trying to go when there are so many other options in town.

We have been here the first time today! I absolutely do not recommend this place. I had beef in chilli sauce with a metal piece in it.The spicy oil containers on the tables were dirty and sticky. Also the napkin holders were dirty and full of dust! Also did we get someone else’s food wich they took after a couple minutes and gave it to the people it belomged toI have never seen anything like this!

What can I say… we came to eat some dim sum seeing all the great reviews.. after walking through the maze of full m&m statues and kids toys all over, we were seated at a table…while we looked through the extensive menus which looked delicious. We were “entertained” with kids running around with nerf guns shooting at each other. This went on for about 10 min… the owner came out to ask if we were ready and we told her that we were leaving as we really wanted to have a nice dinner instead of being on a playground. She said. “Ok thank you”. We went down the road and had a nice meal

Friendly and attentive staff. Delicious Dim Sum. Authentic flavors, warm welcoming environment and great selection. If you are like me you love weird and rare dishes. I've been craving chicken feet since I moved here, I was pleasantly surprised to find Beef Tripe, beef stomach and chicken feet. Don't worry they have other less exotic dishes as well. I will definitely be coming back.

I have been wanting to eat dimsum for some time, but whenever im in a city, i always miss it since it's already after 3pm. First time in Sioux Falls and only here for the night.I called and said they were open till 930pm, but when we got there at 830pm, they were closed, so we knocked. I know sometimes business close early if there are no customers. So better call and let them know ur coming. They let us in!I was surprised by the dimsum choices they had! (No more shark fin though). I know people want fast service but if it's not sunday morning or busy day.. they have to cook it and it takes time.I can say this is one of the best dimsum places I've ever eaten in the country (with their prices?! Yes!!) My husband even said i was enjoying the food a lot. Too bad im only here for 1 night. I also love the people here, i felt bad coming in when they already closed but they were very happy to accommodate us and friendly! The tea was also good. I believe it was jasmine.

I hate posting negative reviews, but this one was a big disappointment. I normally go to Imperial Garden, but they close so early so I thought I'd try this place. Ordered Hunan Chicken with $3 extra chicken. The chicken was terrible, has no flavor and a very unappealing texture and reminded me of a bandaid I tried to eat when I was a kid. Sauce was bland, & steamed rice was mushy. Overall a huge disappointment. I recommend they contact Imperial Garden for some guidance on how good Chinese Food should taste.

I had high hopes for Yummy House Chinese Restaurant in Sioux Falls, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. We came in for Dim Sum, but we were disappointed. The menu had a decent variety of options, but when we tried to order them, they were out of much of the menu. What they did provide us was a major letdown. I ordered the Sweet and Sour pork, which was bland and had a weird almost ground beef texture. The fried rice was dry and lacked any real flavor, making it a disappointing side dish. And the noodles we ordered tasted a bit too sweet. The portion sizes were decent, and.we received a complimentary order of their chive cakes as an apology. They were fine, but not what I'd been looking for. I still appreciated the overture, however. She explained that they will be updating their menu, and supply chain issues caused the issues with the food. The restaurant itself was cute, with cartoon buns on the walls. Hopefully, the menu and food quality issues will work themselves out.

The food tasted good. However, it looks like the sweet and sour sauce was just dumped in the bag. There were a lot of great reviews. I didn't see anything like this.

This place was clean, the staff was super nice and helpful. The decor was SO cute. The food was off the hook good, we had steamed wontons, beef noodle, spicy chicken and bokchoy.Would definitely come here and grab some food. 2024 they will be revamping the menu to be even more authentic! 100% recommend!!
