I stopped in for a quick lunch break on my road trip and was pleasantly surprised! The pulled pork was absolutely delicious and I like the jalapeno qdded to the mac and cheese. I had the sweet barbecue sauce that was at the table but I found out at the end that they do have spicier sauces behind the counter. The brisket was a little dry and tough.However, definitely keeping this place on the list and would return!
Absolutely stellar! This is not the first time JR’s had hosted our company Christmas party and as expected it was handled with precision & the best bbq in the area!! 10/10 Recommend. We will definitely continue to be repeat customers!
Decided to give this place a try since the reviews were so good. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The place was clean and there was plenty of room to sit. I was disappointed to see that they didn't do fries but they did have traditional sides you find at BBQ places. The pork sandwich I got has a good amount of meat and the sauce was really good. The Mac and cheese was very creamy but did include jalapenos. I would come back and eat here again.
