What a gem! Everything we had, including the iced tea, was fresh and homemade. The vegetable beef soup had my 15 year old asking where he could find this at home (DC). White and brown gravy, chicken fried steak, hand breaded puckle fries. All fresh and shockingly awesome. And I don't think they updated their prices after COVID...such a deal. This place should be on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives!!
The pizza was delicious!! Being from Chicago, we have low expectations of pizza while traveling, but this was very good! The barbecue chicken has Carolina Gold, mustard on top, so if that’s not your thing ask for it without.
GREAT broasted chicken, ribs, Cowboy Beans, real mashed potatoes and gravy, and coleslaw.
Service was inattentive, but we could have call for her. Come getcha some!
