“Made a pit stop here on a long drive. It was a beautiful, warm day in April, so I was looking for outdoor seating and this place has a great covered patio out front. Wall's a tourist trap, so I expected a bad meal, honestly. Pleasantly surprised! They claim to serve local beef, so I thought I'd try a 1/2 lb burger with a side of potato wedges. Excellent choice! One of the best restaurant burgers I've ever had, honestly. I never get ground beef undercooked (you wouldn't either if you'd worked on an E. coli class action lawsuit), but they did a perfect medium well on the burger while still keeping it juicy, and not turning the outside of it to charcoal. If that's the local beef, it's worth seeking out. Good cheese choices and fresh lettuce, onion, and tomato, too. The potato wedges or joes were excellent and abundant. Only quibble was that because I wanted to sit outside, they'd only serve me with to-go containers. Waitress promised to check on me for a drink refill, but never did. Still, a solid lunch on a balmy spring Sunday.“
