The atmosphere and food were decent but very pricey! Then shortly after we ateWe all got very sick! Stick to the activities and skip the cafe. Save yourself from being sick the rest of your vacation.

This place has a little bit of everything that you might need. Decent food that is fairly priced, good service & LOTS to look at.

It was off-season and mainly we stopped for lunch. The cafe is like a machine and we didn't have to wait long for our food. It's a pretty basic menu, but that's part of their secret. We had the crispy chicken sandwich and the beef hot dog, both came with fries and I think a pickle. Both were good and the hot dog was pretty big. It wasn't crowded so we had dessert of donuts and coffee. The donuts were better than we expected and the coffee was great especially for 5 cents. It's worth a visit if you're in the area, even if you don't eat there or buy anything.

This is like a super-mega tourist attraction that's located in South Dakota near Badlands National Park and a variety of other attractions in the area. If you're in the area you pretty much have to stop here. They have everything. Whatever kind of souvenirs you can dream of, they have them. The place is huge. It's got a restaurant, clean restrooms, and is generally just a sight to behold. If you wanted to run in and out just to take a look at it, it would probably take you 20 mins just to walk through the entire complex. It's really insane. Easy, free parking just about a half block away, all the souvenirs you can dream of, a restaurant, clean restrooms, and an atmosphere that's some kind of cross between the old west and a carnival. Definitely stop and check it out.

It was a lot of fun. An entire city block swallowed by a tourist shop. You can get turned around and lost in there, but it's worth it. The free water, 5 cent coffee, fresh doughnuts, and made ice-cream is all a fun treat. It has a functioning pharmacy as well as an OTC section if you actually need something "drug store" related. Worth a walk through. Art, candy, chapel, book store, etc. All fun to browse if you have the time to wander.

Located on Main St in the same maze of stores as Wall Drug Store. Lots of souvenir shops and props for fun pictures. The wait staff at the Cafe were extremely friendly and the food was decent. Prices were on the high side, but to be expected at a tourist-centric location like this. Donuts were delicious.

This is certainly not your ordinary drug store for sure. It's huge and sells all kinds of non drug store items, mostly touristy. Stores like South of the Border definitely come to mind when you enter this emporium style place. Aside from all kinds of touristy and gift stuff they have a huge restaurant with several big dining rooms all heavily decorated with old photos, variously themed paintings and Tiffany lamps. There is no shortage on atmosphere. Ordering is fast casual style - place your order at the counter, pick up when they call your number and seat anywhere you choose. Food is not cheap and quality average - there are a couple of other restaurants in town but looking at the reviews it doesn't seem like there is anything much better and Wall Drug definitely wins by efficiency and convenience if nothing else.

this is old school, retro, and yet modern cool stuff. the tyrannosaurus rex that goes off every 10 minutes, and the sluice are great for the kids. They have a full chapel where you can get married, a sweets shop that is awesome, and restaurants. you have to keep on walking from room to room to really get the full experience. look at all the robotronic figures as well. this is great fun!

September 2022 Kitschy and I loved it, mainly the large cowboy chic cafeteria--I'm sure it's overpriced, but it's unique and the only game in town for hundreds of miles.

This is pretty much a better version of South of the Border on I-95, if people know what I mean. Full disclosure, I have not been there but I am guessing. You should go there with an open mind and very very low expectations and you should be OK. Overpriced trinkets are the norm and we did go in November so it was not busy at all. The food at the Cafe was OK. My son liked the Blueberry Pie a lot. The 5 cent coffee is real and I liked it. Restrooms were plenty and clean. Again it being the off season, it was not very busy.

Fast, delicious food, well-priced and served quickly. A great find! Highly recommended, even if the store does seem like a bit of a tourist trap (it's a fun place, well worth visiting).

We ate in the on-site café at Wall Drug and had buffalo burgers. We weren’t impressed (Our Ted’s in Atlanta makes a better buffalo burger, and it is cheaper also). Orders are taken at the counter, and numbers are called when the order is ready. There is plenty of seating, and you can sit where you want. If you want a better experience, go to the Badlands Saloon and Grille across the street.

After seeing what seemed like dozens of signs on the road for Wall Drug, we decided to stop. Apparently, those signs enticed many others to stop, making it sorta hard to find parking. But we did find parking and we did visit the great big drug store. Turns out, it's knick knack heaven, with a real drug store buried in the middle. If you want toys, tourist books, mediocre food, souvenirs, and such, this is your place! It was a nice place to stop and walk around. We needed a break from driving.

This is a massive tourist trap and I mean massive. I came here with my family and a few of us got lost along the way. Many of the shops inside are kind of repetitive but there are weird tourist things to see along the way. My brother in law found an animatronic piano playing bear that he claims was the highlight of the place, so drop a quarter in if you find it. I am still disappointed that I was not able to find the 5 cent coffee but I feel I would have been rather disappointed by it. I you are worried you won't find this place, don't worry, almost every billboard in the state is a Wall Drug billboard so you can't miss it.
