We thought it was OK. We can say we went. The restaurant was like cafeteria food. It was good food but, reminded us of going to a cafeteria. Lots of separate little stores in main building to walk aroundand see. "Backyard" area was open outside to walk around and sit on some statues for pictures. But, the inside stores were closed. Check out the t-rex. It was kinda fun especially for kids when it roars! There are TONS of bathrooms ? everywhere ?. The "free water"...
The café provides a traditional American fare meal with hamburgers and such. Be sure to try the cake donuts they are excellent. Prices are a bit higher than other locations in the area; but I think you are paying for the name and tradition of the location. The décor of the café is very interesting; take your time to walk around and look at it all.
Stopped here on the way to the Badlands park. Very busy. This empire takes up a couple blocks and has everything a tourist would want. We ate at the cafe. Service was quick and efficient despite a long line to order. The staff was on top of their game and got our order to us very quickly. Had buffalo hotdogs and onion rings that had a great taste.
