“Best tasting Filipino food in town, and most affordable too! Their prices were pretty cheap so I didn't expect much for quality, but I was surprised by how much I got for the price I paid! Try their halo-halo, it's really good! :)“

“Our wedding midnight lunch was catered by Flor's. They were so helpful with figuring out how much food we needed. The portions were generous, and they had options for our gluten-free and vegetarian guests. They even printed out signs with the ingredients. Our guests raved about the lumpia, barbecue, and pancit. Highly recommended!“

“I'm not gonna lie. My wife and I came here once as it was recommended by a Filipino friend. I was surprised they weren't added to yelp yet so I added them. Food here's fantastic and genuine Filipino cuisine. As the name suggests there's a lot of pork in the menu and it's traditionally cooked to perfection. Not overcooked. Perfect and tender. You get to add your own spicy vinegar. Here we have SiSig. It's really nicely seasoned. Anyways. It's real deal and if your wanting a traditional Filipino food. Give it a try. You'll be very very happy you did. The staff are super friendly and fast. The Kare Kare is just like back in Manila at The Wooden Spoon, it's perfect. And to update, I've been here 5 times now. Had a different meal each time. I'm blown away as to the quality and consistency. It is rock star. I'd give it 8 stars out of 5 if I could. It is seriously one of the best restaurants in Saskatoon.“

“Katmu Restaurant: A Taste of the Philippines in the Heart of SaskatoonFrom the moment we stepped into Katmu Restaurant, we were greeted with the warm and inviting atmosphere that promised an authentic Filipino dining experience. The menu, a vibrant tapestry of flavors, offered a variety of traditional dishes that cater to both the adventurous foodie and those seeking the comfort of home-cooked meals. The **Kare Kare** was a standout, with its rich and nutty sauce perfectly complementing the tender oxtail and vegetables. It was a dish that brought back memories of festive family gatherings. The **Lechon Bagnet** was another highlight, with its crispy skin and succulent meat, it was a true testament to the art of Filipino cooking. The **Fried Chicken** was, simply put, a revelation. Each bite was a perfect harmony of crispy exterior and juicy interior, seasoned to perfection. The **Salisbury Steak** and **Peppermint Steak** were both flavorful and cooked to our liking, providing a comforting balance to the meal.Dessert was the crowning glory of our feast. The **Leche Flan** was velvety smooth, with just the right amount of sweetness, while the **Sipa** was a delightful surprise that left us wanting more.In conclusion, Katmu Restaurant is a gem in Saskatoon for anyone looking to indulge in the best Filipino cuisine. The dishes we savored were not only delicious but also evoked a sense of nostalgia and joy with every bite. “I had my son’s birthday done here this month. I was very impressed by the cake decorator’s skills and effort that went into this cake. I bought the toppers but she did the rest. He loved it and on top of that, it was delicious!! The price was average of a character, custom cake and I would order from here again. Great job Cesar’s!! (Picture in comments)“

“I don't know why I waited this long to visit. I figured I had some time to kill before my flight back to Winnipeg. I had a quick breakfast, and it truly hit the spot. It felt like home... I will definitely come back when I'm in Saskatoon.“
