I was picking up a vehicle nearby and was caught by a blizzard. Im 700kms from home. Showed up less than an hour to close, no one alive in town, no reason to be open. 121 was open, welcome, and not only gave us amazing service but ensures we found a place to stay and had breakfast in mind. Normally 5 stars for being considerate humans, but another 5 if I could for service and food. My buddies udon was the best he had apparently, my burger was top notch and our pints were cold...
Came in here after a 13 hour work day for supper. As you can imagine, I was mad hungry. Ordered the jalapeño poppers for a quick appy, 8 oz sirloin with garlic mashed. Enquired about the soup but there was none left. No biggie, I didn’t come to a damn steakhouse to eat soup. Got a side Caesar instead… standard, enjoyed it. That leads me to the star of the show… the meat. It was awesome, arrived fast and cooked perfect. Wish I could get a charbroil like that on my steaks...
We only ate at the restaurant. The service was an interesting experience; for some reason we had three servers. The first was a young woman of East Indian heritage who, I felt, did not want to be there. I had to call her back when she left midway through the order, because the other people at the table also wanted to place their orders.
