Went there on a Thursday night which is steak night. The special is $3 off a steak. They were out of steak. And they were out of vegetables. The waitresses here are pretty good for the most part, however it was extremely upsetting to hear from our waitress that they do NOT receive the tips that customers leave them. I am not tipping the establishment. I am tipping my waitress based upon her service. Management should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for taking their waitress’ tips. They claim it is due to them being slow. If you weren’t one of the few options in town, I don’t think you’d be open very long. DO BETTER. Edited to add that we were in there before 6pm, and there were only 2 other tables, I highly doubt it was because they were sold out of steak. I have never seen this restaurant busy, so being out of a product due to it being sold out is highly unlikely 😊

We went to rock creek for a bite to eat, firstly sitting down our booth was dirty, there is food stuck on the walls.
We order an appy, which was the smoked chicken dip. The description is totally different than what you get, what we ended up getting was chicken gravy and chips.
I ordered the penne lane - which was very dry and bland not to mention seeing the cook pull the chicken breast from the microwave.
My partner order a 10oz steak which came with mashed potatoes and veggies. The steak was so hard you couldn’t even chew it but the inside was completely raw, I’m not talking rare steak like it wasn’t even cooked, just had an overly charred outside. the mashed potatoes were soup and clearly microwaved with how they came out, the veggies had no colour and were mush as well as just microwaved.
We got asked how the food was and we said we weren’t happy with it and got the response “ maybe next time it would be better”. There won’t be a next time, and we honestly should have walked out instead of paying a ridiculous amount for food that was just microwaved. I would give this place 0 stars if that was an option!

I ordered the BBQ ribs at Rock Creek and wow — they were absolutely awesome! The ribs were juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. They just fell off the bone.
It came with mashed potatoes on the side, and let me tell you — those were bomb. Creamy, buttery, and the perfect match with the ribs.
Everything on the plate was delicious. I was literally saying “oh my god” with every bite 😂. Seriously one of the best meals I’ve had in a while.
Big thanks to Rock Creek for such an amazing dinner! Can’t wait to come back!

I had the Butter Chicken at Rock Creek and it was honestly amazing! The dish came with naan and rice, and it looked just as good as it tasted. I ordered it mild and the flavor was perfect — creamy, rich, and had a nice Canadian twist to it. The chicken was super tender and full of flavor.
I ended up eating every last bite. It was that good. The service was great, staff were friendly, and the place was really clean and welcoming.
Thank you Rock Creek for making my day with this delicious meal. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food and a nice dining experience!

Me and my fiancé went out for valentines day and they had a set menu. I had two purple hazy, 8oz sirloin (med rare), mashed potatoes and the wild berry brownie. My fiancé had the same except with two beers. Oh our appy was chicken sauce with nacho chips. The appy was okay. But then we got the main course. Mashed potatoes was soup, no flavor besides salt. Steak was more of a mid well done, didn't look like 8oz and the veggies were well over done. One bite of the steak was just pure salt.
The service was also lacking. It wasn't busy and no tables were getting cleaned. We sat for an hour and the tables that weren't clean when we arrived were still not clean when we left. We were never asked how was the food. And it took forever for them to take our drink or food order.
For 75 dollars it was not worth it, we paid cause we didn't want to cause a scene but we were thinking of just walking out altogether.
