We were on our way home and were about to pass through Gull Lake around 1pm, when I Googled "where to eat in Gull Lake". Mount Everest Restaurant was first on the list. My husband and I have a saying "Try new things!" Well, we were not disappointed! Stopped in for fuel intending to only grab a quick snack and hit the road. Decided to grab a meal and ordered what we thought was a traditional clubhouse sandwich without paying too much attention to the menu's description. Very good food, friendly staff and very reasonably priced. I had the Sunday buffet and there wasn't a single thing I ate that I was disappointed in.I've been driving for almost five days at this point and I've eaten at a lot of restaurants on my trip across country and this has been the best experience yet. The only shame was how empty it was! I hope I was just missing the lunch rush because they deserve more business.
