We were surprised how nice this place was, more than the online presence suggests. Food was great, other than the schnitzel which was very salty - but staff were wonderful and service was excellent, so I would definitely still return.

I normally just go here for breakfast, can’t beat the meat lovers skillet, extra side of bacon, (no eggs! ?) I mean if you’re an egg person it comes with it… anyway today I went with beef dip / onion rings and wings. No regrets on my part ??As always great food and service
First time eating here, was suggested by a coworker.Had the special of the day (Chicken Wrap) and it was very good. Came in around noon so it was fairly busy and they had an order phoned in as well so the food came to the table after 20 mins. Would definitely come back if I'm in the area.

It was a long day and I was looking forward to having a nice dinner before checking into my hotel. A local recommended Johnny's Bistro which is located right next to the Pioneer Hotel. I decided on the New York strip medium well. The meal came with a nice warm roll a choice of soup or salad potato with vegetables. The baked potato comes with sour cream chives and bacon. Sadly that's where things went South. The steak which was a nice size was dry and overcooked. Hoping for the best I cut into my first piece. What a disappointment. I was offered a replacement or discount. I was eager to get back to my hotel so I opted for the discount.

When my food came, the fish was overcooked, but they remedied it quickly and it was delicious! If I could give the server more than 5 ⭐️ I absolutely would. He was amazing!!
