Stopped in for lunch and enjoyed a tasty grilled cheddar cheese sandwich along with the most delicious bowl of creamy corn chowder, loaded with ham and potatoes - a meal in itself! The service was wonderful! $11! Atmosphere was dated but clean and quaint. Don’t let the shabby exterior fool you!
It's always great food there. Do I have to ask for pretzel buns on my cheese burger? It was so good the last time they served pretzel buns with the burger plate. Here's hoping it'll happen the next time we eat there.
We stopped for lunch on way home after a training meeting.The restaurant is in the bar.Cool old building, the bar had been updated not that long ago by the appearance.It was nice and clean.I had fish and chips, both homemade, crispy golden batter on the fish, cooked perfectly, fine home cut fries.Was delicious and fast.Well worth a stop.
