I have been to a lot of Chinese restaurants in my life my experience with the BC Cafe really was not an enjoyable one.The inside of the restaurant was not very clean and had the vibe of a hang out for all the people that grew up in maple Creek. It was not very inviting to stay and if the lighting was better you would probably see how dirty that place was.The food was not very good. Normally my family would have eaten everything and had no leftovers. My dogs liked it though.Out...
The owner of the local campground said that this place served Chinese food as if it was 1950, so we had to check it out.And it was! As soon as you walk in, you feel like time has stood still.The menu is 1/2 Chinese, 1/2 “regular”, as in burgers and breakfast items.Since we didn’t want leftovers, did want Chinese, and wanted to channel the 1950 vibe, we got 2 different dinners for one, complete with fluorescent red sauce.They were great.
A wonderful diner in this beautiful little town. It's split with traditional diner food and Chinese food. I had the break cutlet which was just good.... Very obviously previously frozen.
