My parents were in last night and had to deal with an extremely abusive and drunk customer who was mad he was losing on his VLT machine. Not only did the waitress not do a single thing, my parents were encouraged to actually leave before even ordering their meal. I would absolutely not recommend going to this establishment if you want to sit down for a nice meal without taking abuse from some random customer, while the waitress looks on.

I had a very strange experience at Streets. I really wanted to love it, but the waitress seemed determined to make sure we didn’t come back. At first, she pointed only at me and asked for ID (flattering, I suppose, but awkward and slightly offensive to the younger people I was with). We were out to celebrate my birthday, so I thought maybe someone had mentioned it to her, but there was no offer of a birthday dessert or celebratory drink.
We started with chicken wings, which all four of us agreed were some of the best wings we’ve ever had. Then came the mains. I ordered the surf and turf (no olives, of course) and, while everything tasted good, the steak was way overcooked. I ordered medium-rare, but it was nearly well-done. I asked if it could be remade. The waitress took my plate, including the sides, which impressed our group at first; we assumed they would replace the entire meal (minus the shrimp, which I had already eaten).
However, when my steak returned, it was served with only a dry ciabatta bun with no sides or vegetables. I had to ask for my side dish and vegetables, and what I received was just a bowl of plain white rice, which arrived after I had already eaten half of the new steak. What could have been a great experience was tainted by this strange service. I’ve never had a waitress make it feel like I was being punished for sending something back.
For what it’s worth, the replacement steak was cooked perfectly and delicious. Still, the overall experience felt off. I also submitted feedback through the Streets website the day after my visit, and a week later, I haven’t received a response.

Ordered Streets for dinner, after picking up our meals. The fries were ice cold and hard. Almost like they have been sitting out for over an hour. Also made 2 orders of chicken quesadillas, chicken was awfully hard, almost like it was cooked 3 days ago. Over $50 spend for ice cold and hard food. Not a very good experience unfortunately.

Great food and service. This was our first time at Strees Steakhouse and Bar and it was a very positive experience. The server was very friendly and told us what the soups that they had today and also specials of the day. Took our food and drink orders, both of which were served in a timely manner. Will definitely recommend this place to others.

I got the surf and turf rare steak wasn't rare and on top of my shrimp and steak was a mess of sautéed vegetables and pickled black olives it was weird. Wife got a steak with sauce the sauce you could taste the mayo in that never belongs near a steak. We actually started discussing where else in town we might eat at for my birthday coming up. We used to love Streets sorry not tonight. Waitress was excellent.

Almost every time we pass through MooseJaw on our way to Alberta, we stay overnight and usually go to Streets for dinner. Not only is it close (walkable) from our hotel, the food is great, reasonably priced, and the beer cold and refreshing.

The food was amazing, and so was the service! It was my first time dining at a Canadian restaurant, and I was impressed!
I had a great blue cheese burger, and the fries were ordinary. A friend had the Asiago fries, but there wasn't much on them. The sangria was dangerously delicious. My wife had the fish and chips and the fish was delicious. Some of the firmest cod I have had. I don't know if we got a good batch but will definitely have that again.

Was there tonight, got seated right away then waited almost 10 min and no one came I finally asked a server and she said she would get our server. She finally came and we ordered then it took another 5 min for a glass of water. It was not extremely busy either. We waited probably 15 min for the dry ribs which were excellent. Then after about 25 min we got our order of the surf and turf and half rack of ribs. The steak was over cooked, the rice is just plain white rice. The ribs looked and tasted like they sat under the heat lamp for way too long I could barely cut them, they were awful. We did mention it to the server that the food wasn’t good and she was going to let the kitchen know. I don’t know if the kitchen was extremely slow- the lounge side could have been busy with orders too but it still shouldn’t have taken 30 minutes for mediocre food at best. Was highly disappointed and will not be going back.

Was wing night tonight(Tuesday)- the wings were fabulous. Our waitress was fabulous! Definitely worth a stop! Going by how busy it was, it’s a favourite in town. Even though it was busy, they wait for food was still good!
