Excellent meal and service and the place was spotless. We knew of this restaurant, but have never eaten there. It is located on the second level of the curling rink with a great view of the curling arena.
Lou Mei wanted pad Thai and I wanted to see the game, we stumbled across this place and couldn’t have asked for anything more. The food was delicious. They were playing jazz music and the game was on and apparently it’s in an old curling center, who would’ve thunk! If you’re driving the TransCanada Highway and you love good food you must stop here!
I went to Beaver Grill Express and had a meal there. This was the first time in 20 years that I lived in Canada. I had Pho cooked in the traditional style of my hometown in Vietnam. It was a very special pho noodle, the kind of noodle that is wide and thin. It was very attractive. The broth was cooked extremely well and the meat sauce was very rich.
