“I like syrup in my coffee, the waitress thought it was interesting. She brought butter as an after thought...... Good thing too.
We got a 3 stack as a starter to share. Love keeping people guessing. She was a great match, and made sure our main was there when my last bite of pancake went in so my stomach didn't have time to be full.“

“This spot was great for a family get together. They typically don't take reservations, which I don't have a problem with, but they do accommodate if you can give them a heads up and show up on time which was perfect. We were celebrating and wanted bring in a special birthday cake & there was no problem with that - the staff were eager to help and even hid the cake until the right time. Everyone so enjoyed the meal, most of us had the buffet- given the options of a breakfast off the menu or the buffet and looking at the price it really made sense to go for the buffet. There was a lot of variety and it was constantly being replenished.“

“The restaurant has been renamed to 40th Street Grill. Great food! Homemade breads and real corned beef. The stuffed egg sandwiches were a hearty breakfast. The only thing better than the fresh cinnamon bun was the kindness and service of the owner and the staff. Do not miss this hidden gem for its off the beaten path location!“
