Everything is made fresh and all dishes are delicious
Normally, I would rave about The Spice Trail in Prince Albert, but today was not a good experience. The food and the server were great, which was to be expected. What we did not expect was having the owner confront my friend over chia tea. The chia tea she, and myself incuded, are used to is usually black, but without knowing chia tea is traditionally served with cream was unexpected. Although it looked beautiful, it had to be returned because of a milk intolerance. Apparently that did not sit well with the owner, so she approached our table and said she got exactly what she ordered. After my friend apologized, the owner said, "You know nothing about tea." I immediately told her, "That was rude." She then went on and on about how inexperienced my friend was about tea then turned to me and tried to justify her behavior. I did not let it slide. She finally walked away when our server brought our food, but judging by the amount of staff that had to peek around the kitchen door. I believe she carried on her rant to all of them, and when we were done, the server was the one to ring in our tab - which never happens. My friend did not deserve to be treated like that. She is kind, takes everything with a grain of salt, and she is not the type of person to make a fuss. When she apologized for not knowing it would have cream, that should have been the end of it. An owner in the hospitality industry does not have the right to talk down to a customer or be confrontational over a cup of tea, especially when it directly affects their dietary health. That individual's behavior was absolutely uncalled for. 👎🏾👎🏾
The place and food i excepted was disgusting. The reason behind is, we order so much stuff the main reason was the tandoori sizzler, the dishes was full of various meat. I try one chicken leg had a small bite but it was smelling so badly, we call owner to cancel but she was arguing on it, it was worst experience at spice trail, who wants to eat smelling food at all?Never ever wanna go.

Tons of food options. We eat there a lot, both in the restaurant & take out. I am very sensitive to gluten & I’ve never had a contamination issue here. Very much appreciated!

This restaurant is seriously good. I didn't get the servers name, but she was very patient and helpful with guiding me through the menu. I'm really happy I went with her suggestion and avoided defaulting to the tried and true butter chicken.
I thoroughly enjoyed the garlic naan and Kadahai Paneer.
The staff was attentive and clearly enjoy seeing people enjoy what they have built. If I ever find myself back in Prince Albert, I will be sure to revisit.

The cuisine was delicious, and the service was cordial and attentive. The only drawback was the lack of natural light due to all the curtains being drawn.

This is a hidden gem of the North. If you're heading to Prince Albert or passing through to go to Waskesiu, this is an absolute must. The best Pakoras I have ever had, everything is made from scratch, even the powdered spices have been roasted in house. We had pakoras, chicken tikka masala, Chana masala, rice, garlic naan, and raita.
The service is spectacular and if fine dining quality. They are kind, welcoming, friendly and so happy to make you smile. The dishes came out quick, and hot.
The food was so fragrant, Garlic Naan is fantastic and is everything you would expect of a perfect Indian meal. I've been to a lot of Indian restaurants in Saskatchewan and this one is the very best!! We sat in a beautifully decorated booth, and it felt very intimate and private.
They also do take out and sell their marinated chicken tikka to take home and BBQ.

Prince Alberts finest cuisine! Plus they let us put on punk and metal and hardcore and rap shows, so pretty much the deadliest joint in all of Prince Albert and surrounding area! 21/10 Highly recommend.

I’ve been eating here since they first opened, way back in the buffet days. Consistently delicious high quality food, beautiful restaurant and cheerful pleasant staff. Ordered veggie pakoras in the lounge and korma with beef to go last night and the food was just as amazing as the first time.
