Angkor Southeast Asian Delight

I just went to pick up a takeout for three people and I had to make a case to get a spoon for the fish sauce and napkins. When I asked for more napkins they guy was like you had an order of four and I said no just three and he kind off implied you got all the napkins for the number of dishes I paid. I insisted I need more napkins and they weren’t happy about. They gave me one more napkins and I just said to keep it if it’s such a big deal! WORST SERVICE EVER!!!

Mother’s Day fiasco. Ordered at 2 for pick up at 5:05. Ready at 5:45. Never tell if delay until you pay. Then they insulted a customer.

First time to dine in with the whole family (with 2 toddlers), had a experience with service and food. No reservations as we just tried it out but I would recommend having one as we’re a family or group. Great food! The guy who was there at that time was very professional. Very spacious place too, didn’t feel like we’re cramped in there.

Fantastic food. Visiting from Montreal and hard to find Vietnamese food this good even there!

It is hard to believe that Angkor East is the same group as Thai Basil. The food from Thai Basil is always better in every way. The same dishes from Angkor East are always bland and uninspiring.

I recently ordered a shrimp and squid dish, but I was very disappointed with what I received. The entire dish was overwhelmed by onions, and I only found four small pieces of squid, which is completely different from what was shown in the picture. Additionally, the “three kind meat noodle bowl” was also disappointing. The meat tasted pre-cooked and reheated, lacking freshness.

Usually always really good food ... however today was absolutely brutal customer service. We were given a dish with shrimp instead of only chicken, as there is a shrimp allergy. This was put in the bag with shrimp with the other food. We called about this, that we only wanted chicken and mentioned a shrimp allergy right on the order. Whoever was put on the phone came on screaming, could barely understand them with all the screaming, no care at all, not their problem. $80 order couldn't eat any of it, as sauce leaking out of the container can be an issue. Won't be going to this location again.

Dietary restrictions: Not careful with requests due to allergy.
