Blancos has become a favourite of ours. Love the atmosphere, generally have great service, and the food is tasty. We went there with a friend for Valentine's Day for late night happy hour (our favourite) to celebrate her birthday. The guy working the front door was super sweet and took care of us, though he seemed to be struggling a bit as he said he had no idea how to work the reservation/seating chart program. After we got seated, he mentioned that since we were there for a birthday we could choose from a shot or dessert on the house. Awesome! The server arrived and she must have had a long night because she seemed like she had checked out hours ago. Sub-par service all night long, and no personality. The food was fantastic as per usual. Happy hour tacos and margaritas were delicious as always (shrimp, chicken, and mushroom were the best ones). The server never once mentioned the birthday or anything, which wasn't a huge let down as the food and drinks were great otherwise. Again, she seemed like she was done with the night before we even got there. Music in the restaurant was great all night, and we enjoined ourselves regardless. Server eventually brought our bill and we went on our way. We will still definitely be back again soon.

I have Celiac Disease so chose this place to eat supper based on the large amount of gluten free friendly options. Last time, I got the garlic mushroom tacos and they were too spicy for me. This time, I got the birria tacos. OMG they were amazing. The spice level was just right. So much flavour - salt, heat, acid, umami. We got the chips and dips starter that we both loved. I am normally a big fan of margs, but after recently discovering mezcal, I went with the smoky pineapple mezcal cocktail. It was my favourite mezcal drink ever. Honestly, it competed with my favourite margaritas ever. I can't wait to go back. The server was beyond friendly and helpful. We went around 6pm and our drinks, appies, and food all came within a few minutes of ordering. Incredible!
Dietary restrictions: Tons of delicious, GF gluten friendly options. I have eaten here several times and never gotten ill from cross contamination. Make sure to tell them about your dietary needs when ordering.

Blanco Cantina in Regina is an absolute gem. The atmosphere is stunning, with vibrant decor that makes you feel like you've stepped into a fiesta. The food is outstanding, especially the extra spicy hot wings, which are both delicious and pack a serious punch. Highly recommend for a fun night out with great food and vibes! ?️??
Parking: Can be full out front but there is always space around the block.
Wheelchair accessibility: They have a nice, newly redone wheelchair ramp.
