I was so excited to see Caraway Grill now does cold takeout! Generous portions for the price, and excellent quality as always.

Whenever I visit a new city, I enjoy trying local Indian cuisine. Based on positive reviews, we decided to visit Caraway Grill.

The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was superb. We tried the Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Garlic Naan; and every dish was delicious.

Caraway Grill offers delicious food and outstanding service. We will definitely visit them again.

I recently visited Caraway Grill and tried mostly all the vegetarian and chicken options, both starters and main courses. I absolutely loved almost everything — the flavors, quality, and taste were all **10/10**.

The service was also **awesome** and very attentive.

However, two dishes were a big disappointment:

1. **Kachori Chat:** The kachori was **extremely hard** — like seriously, I don't know how anyone can eat it. It was way too tough and took away from the whole experience.
2. **Chicken Vindaloo:** This did not taste like vindaloo at all. The flavor was totally different — it felt like they used some kind of **Chinese sauce** in it. Not what I expected.

So my advice: avoid the kachori chat and chicken vindaloo, and you'll have a fantastic meal. Everything else I tried was perfect. Highly recommended otherwise!

Caraway Grill used to have great value for the money spent. Sadly, not so anymore. I picked up Chicken Korma and Rice for dinner. The chicken in my dinner consisted of 7 roughly one inch square pieces of chicken breast. There was a time when I'd have dinner and more than enough left for lunch the next day. No longer is this the case sadly. The food is still good, just not worth the money spent.

This is generally a favourite.
Service was good but all food was cold except the shrimp appetizer. The chicken quality was sub-par with us even thinking maybe some paneer had been substituted but it was just extra chewy chicken.
Even the naan bread just wasn’t awesome like we are used to.
We ate it because we were trying to visit with out of town family. But it was quite disappointing.

I ordered the Express Menu take‑out Channa Bhatura during lunch time for $11.99 from their downtown location through their website. The taste wasn’t that great, it was just average. The Channa quantity was quite low, even though the Bhatura size was fine. I selected Diet Coke as my drink and expected it to come in a can, but instead they gave me Diet Pepsi in a plastic cup, and it was completely flat with almost no carbonation. Overall, the quality and the amount of channa could be better. It would also be nice if they offered a proper can or at least a choice of tea or coffee with the meal.

I’m honestly pissed and sad I ordered Skip instead of being in the restaurant so I could address this in the moment. I ordered their House Speciality (as described) spicy Lamb Masala which at $22.75 (protein only) and added sides of naan and rice.

The order came with 9 small bites of lamb which I was sad about but at least I had the rest of the sauce for rice and stuff. The sauce was WATER. when I poured it over the rice it was brown water with rice.

I know food prices have gone up but WOW. I could have forgiven the measly meat portion but the water sauce is just not ok. Never again. Used to be such a fan (please note the first pic was before I added the sauce. Second pic was after sauce and my 9 bites of lamb)

I don’t even write reviews but this was just unacceptable.

Tasty dishes. Had chicken tikka masala. Nan didn not look fresh bit reheated. Not the traditional tandoori oven baked, but a bit flat.

Ordered butter chicken for pickup and asked over the phone if it could be spicy. The woman over the phone said yes so when I brought it home to eat it was very disappointing. The butter chicken wasn't spicy at all and was made mostly sauce with 8 small chicken cubes. I feel like the portion size did not match the price comparing to other restaurants. Disappointing and different from how they were 3 years ago.
