I've been trying to find Vietnamese spring rolls (not fresh rolls!) for 18 years since I went on a gluten free diet (full celiac). I found them here! The food is excellent and all gluten free. 6 stars out of 5. So very happy 😊

Please check your shaking beef dish ingredients. I had it a week ago and suspect it caused food-borne infectious gastroenteriti. The symptoms started the morning after I had the dish and escalated until tonight.

This is a great oriental restaurant! The only issue is, it's very difficult to open the front door.😊 ( air pressure )

We ordered take out tonight for 5. The curry sauce on the duck was very watery almost like soup. The char grilled pork was dry, but for takeout it wad nicely presented. The beef pho was average at best.
The team at the restaurant were very friendly and the restaurant was nicely decorated.

A delicious and flavourful Vietnamese cuisine. In my opinion, the food quality, portion sizes, prices, the restaurant’s design, atmosphere, and cleanliness are all excellent.
Toilet cleanliness is especially an important criterion for me.
Congratulations! I believe this place truly deserves 5 stars.

Chat’s Vietnamese Restaurant is one of those rare culinary gems that manages to be both comforting and exciting every single time. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by the rich aromas of lemongrass, ginger, and caramelized soy—a preview of the authentic and beautifully balanced dishes to come.
The menu is an inspired celebration of Vietnamese cuisine, yet it feels refreshingly approachable. On this visit, the standout dish was the smoked duck breast—a revelation in both texture and flavour. Tender and perfectly pink inside, the duck carried just the right hint of smokiness, complemented by a delicate glaze that struck an elegant balance between sweet and savoury. Each bite was deeply satisfying, a reminder of how refined simplicity can be when executed with care.
Equally impressive were the spring rolls, which were crisp, light, and bursting with fresh herbs and vermicelli. They arrived golden and steaming, with a dipping sauce that layered heat, acidity, and umami so effortlessly that you could almost forget you were eating something gluten free.
And that’s another strength of Chat’s—a truly gluten-free friendly menu that never sacrifices authenticity. The fried rice, for instance, is reason enough to visit on its own. On those days when nothing but a bowl of hot, wok-seared rice will do, Chat’s delivers in spades: each grain infused with garlic, soy, and just a kiss of sesame.
The service is warm and attentive, the atmosphere relaxed but elegant, and the attention to detail—from plating to seasoning—is consistently excellent. Chat’s isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a love letter to Vietnamese flavours, crafted with integrity and passion. Whether you’re gluten-free, a duck devotee, or simply hungry for something exceptional, this is one place that truly satisfies.
You earned a customer for life tonight. 😋🍜

Such a lovely place. Atmosphere is fantastic. Not your typical Vietnamese Restaurant. Service was a bit slowet but the staff is extremely nice. The washrooms are very very clean.. i have the Coconut soup and it was huge and delicious. Hubby had the steak. He said it was okay. His portion was a bit on the smaller side. The salad was very good. Steak was a little tough but still tasted good. We do recommend this place. ❤️

Had the best Gluten Free supper tonight. The Spring Rolls were devine and the Lemon chicken noodle bowl was superb! Will definitely eat here next time we are in town. Highly recommend.

First time trying Pho and it was delicious! Only issue was the wind outside creating a weird vortex that made the door really hard to open... we thought it was closed lol. The waiter inside came and let us in once he saw us. I ordered the peach iced tea and the grilled beef pho, which was delicious and enough to fill me up. Absolutely gorgeous inside, would reccomend greatly.
