The food is pretty good, I'd say anybody would be happy with the food. But... Service is a little lacking. There were 3 of us for supper and they would bring one person's order out first...then 5 to almost 10 minutes later bring out the next order and then the same for the last order. And it wasn't a drastically busy night. I had Szechuan shrimp and it was really good. Overall, China Doll is a decent place but don't go if you're in any kind of hurry and don't mind if other people are eating before you. They could increase popularity quite easily by bringing out a tables orders all at once.

I went there mid-afternoon and had one of their combination dinners. It was quite disappointing. Like another reviewer said, I couldn't cut into the egg roll and had to open it with my hands and that smelled terrible. The fried rice was dry, the dry ribs were quite salty and overly fried; the sweet and sour chicken balls were the only good thing about my meal. They give you a glass completely filled with ice and then your room temperature pop bottle. The bathroom was clean and well maintained and the server was kind. Everything else was terrible. I used to love this place, but I will not be back.

Just NO!!!! Worst food I have ever had. Ordered the Dinner for 4; so disappointed. The fried rice was absolutely disgusting, the egg rolls were double deep fried or something; whatever the filling was is questionable, the shrimp was overbattered and dry. Don't waste your money.

My husband and I went there yesterday for lunch. It was absolutely disgusting! We have been going to China Doll for about 30 years and these last few years it has went down hill. I tried putting my fork in.my egg roll it was so hard it wouldn't go in. My food was terrible and my husband's was worse both of us said we will never be going there again. Also the waitress was dressed very dirty stuff all over her clothes and never once asked how things were. We were the only ones in there and this was at 12 noon. I have a feeling it will be closing permanently unless they get there act together .
