My husbands chicken wings were delicious. My steak frites were not. The steak was so hard to cut even with a steak knife. I ordered an GreyGoose dry martina with olives. I gota martina that was dirty. I sent it back. I got a new one and it was totally watered down. I watched the bartender and he was so mad that he had to make me a new one. It did not taste like Grey Goose vodka at all. It’s a really nice venue. Too bad that the food and bartenders are mediocre

If you don't try a Smoked Old Fashioned, you're missing out. Great atmosphere.

We went to this place for NYE. Absolutely loved the environment. It was quite busy yet we got a very good service. Food was good too.

I had brunch with a friend on a Saturday morning around 10:30. The area where we were seated was quiet and comfortable. The food was amazing and very tasty. The service was not great. I have a dairy intolerance and can get quite ill if I consume any dairy products. I informed the server but they were clueless. Did not appear to understand what that meant. I had no faith that the food I was being served would not have butter on it (ie the toast). The server did not come to ask if our meal was ok or if we needed something else. It was not busy - only 3 other tables were occupied. We definitely enjoyed the food but the service was very poor.

I am not the kind to leave a bad review usually, and always give the benefit of doubt. But the experience at Circa 27 has left us with bad taste. My dear friend and I recently went for dinner at Circa 27, Hotel Saskatchewan, at the start of January 2024. We are more quiet types, so this was our way to welcome in 2024 instead of partying. We had made reservations for Wednesday late evening. When we arrived and were seated, we noticed that there were two servers that night and just four or five tables that had patrons and by the time our main course arrived, a group at another table had left. Once seated, we were never offered any water. Is that a trend now? This is the first time in Regina we experienced this. We ordered drinks, orange juice (because one of us doesn't drink) and something else. We ordered Salad ( that we shared) and our main course.Close to the end of our meal, I requested some water. It came after some time, and we noticed that the server just rinsed a glass under tap water and filled it with tap water and brought it to our table holding in her hand ( no tray!). The glass of water that she brought was still wet and dripping (with water) from outside and the water inside was completely hazy! I never drank that water.Later we ordered dessert and my friend also ordered tea. We ate our desserts and the server came to ask if we were ready to pay. She never brought the tea that my friend had ordered. It seemed the server had never bothered to bring a pen and notepad to write down any of our orders and relied simply on her (failing) memory. She brought the card machine and we paid (of course, she wasn't getting a good tip after all this) and my friend noticed that she just threw the restaurant bill and the credit card receipt on our table, never asking if we needed a receipt or bothering to be courteous enough to handover the receipt to me. This is the first time a server has thrown a receipt and bill on the table and just left. Now we feel that she really didn't deserve any tip.The whole experience of eating at Circa 27 was not what we had expected. We have been wondering whether this reflected the standard for such a restaurant. With the kind of patrons who likely frequent this place, it became clear that this was not the standard behaviour ( because such a behaviour if she did all the time with the other patrons, would be immediately complained about and taken care of). It didn't take us long to realize that she was specifically being mean to us. Her behaviour did not match the name or standard one expects for such a Marriott group hotel, and undermined the efforts of all other staff e.g. the chef who prepared our food that day. Also, we do not know if that is the dress code for staff at the Hotel, but do not wear black shirt and jeans there ( thank god we didn't), otherwise you will look like one of the servers at Circa 27.Sadly, whenever we will discuss this restaurant, we will talk about our visit there and this server and her behaviour towards us. Next time we decide to eat out or someone asks our recommendation - Circa 27 won't be our choice.

It was a lovely place, however we had made a reservation, that seemed to not matter as the person who sat us did not seem to be interested. The service took a very very long time to get going, and was by various servers. We had the same server once our food order was taken, no information was provided in terms of the menu etc. Overall it was my friends birthday from out of town, and honestly was not as a high end restaurant usually operates, unfortunately.

I will never go to hotel Sask again for a meal, I made a reservation a week ahead of time I phoned and was told they had a buffet but I received a text a day before our reservation that they didn't have a buffet. So we decided to go anyway. We got there T our reservation time and they told us they were shutting down the restaurant so they moved us to the lounge. It then took 45 miniutes till we got a coffee and another 45 miniutes till we got our meal, food was cold service was terrible, in other words the whole experience was terrible. What happened to your quality of dining?!!!!!

We haven't been to Circa for a while, so we decided to stop in for a few cocktails on a Friday night.I wanted to see the holiday decorations and everything was beautiful! The lounge was busy with a nice atmosphere. We sat at the bar as we usually do. The bartender was pleasant, and my cocktails were good.We ordered the duck flatbread, which was very tasty, and the ricotta and mushroom dip. The dip needed more seasoning, and the chunky mushrooms didn't quit work for us.Overall, we had a lovely evening!

Poor to no service for our Christmas dinner reservation..wish we would have stayed seated at the bar in the lounge. We saw a server 1 time at the beginning of the meal when she brought water. Never came again until she broke the cheque.

Four of my friends, and I, attended the Christmas Brunch on Monday, December 18. Having dined at the Hotel Sask previously, we knew the food would be very good, and we were not the least bit disappointed! Soup, salad, and main course were all very delicious! Our waitress was also very friendly, quick, and very considerate of my mobility issues. Overall, a lovely experience! Thank you!
