My family has been going here for years after the discovery of the Dewdney location now we frequent to the south location and always take advantage of the special of the day but recently discovered the orange sauce they started doing and making in house i am so addicted to it it gives a rather nice kick to the already yummy chicken i recommend you trying it at least once

I have been a customer of Fritou south for more than 6 years. The store has gone through some up and downs over the years but now the food is once again really good. Shagan is a good cook and she is really nice to customers. I would recommend expanding the menu and bring back some of the items from 2019-20 period.

I went there yesterday at around 10:35 PM. After about five minutes, He (person with turban)came to the counter and rudely said, 'We are closed now.' It was extremely unprofessional and not customer-oriented behavior.

Authentic indian taste. They have a signature sauce that is like thick chicken soup but wings with that dip is awesome. And the chicken burger was subtle and tasty. I chose max spicy for all items. It wasnt all chilli. I could still taste the other ingredients. Nothing overdone. Very well made. I would say better than popeyes. 10/10 for the authentic desi taste.

Hands down, the best fried chicken in Regina and Saskatoon! I’m not doing this as an advertisement — I'm just a huge fan of fried chicken, and I’ve tried most of the fried chicken spots in both cities. Let me tell you, not one of them even comes close to the food satisfaction I get here. The quality of the food is unmatched — crispy, perfectly seasoned, and incredibly tender every single time. Harman and Shagan always provide friendly, top-notch service, making each visit feel special.

I truly hope they never change the quality or the cook because this place has set the perfect standard for fried chicken. If you love fried chicken as much as I do, you *have* to try this place — you won’t find better anywhere else!

They have a special on website but not honoring it. First got a story that the special was no longer on. Called back asking why is it still on website? Was told the north store closed so they don't have enough chicken but I could get it in a couple hours. Then was told that they could defrost some chicken? Talk about sketchy. Also told because north store was closed , lots were going from Rochdale to far south albert street to order. Story changed 5 times in less than 5 minutes.Won't be going back there again. Can't trust what they say, so not going to trust they follow safe food handling procedures etc.

We ordered chicken from Fritou over the phone for pickup on Saturday evening. When I got home and took the first bite, I immediately noticed it was very salty. My family also complained about the excessive saltiness. Despite this, we decided to eat it anyway, but to our surprise, we discovered the chicken was undercooked. I have attached a few pictures to show the issue. We went back to Fritou to report the problem, and they took the food back. However, I felt it was important to write this review to warn others: please be cautious when eating or serving fast food to your kids. Sometimes children might not notice or mention issues, but undercooked food can be very unhealthy.
