The food wasn’t that great, the pizza toppings were all stuck to the top of the pizza box. The pizza was burnt on the bottom and soggy at the same time, so I’m not sure how that happens. It could of been because it had mushroom on the bottom of the pizza that I specifically said “no mushrooms” but it still came with mushrooms on it. Houston Pizza offers a mixed experience. While the food and service are generally good, there are some notable issues. Customers have reported long wait times for service and frustrating experiences with online ordering and inconsistent opening hours. Pre-ordering seems to be a workaround for smoother service. The pizza is often praised for its crust, which is perfectly balanced between crisp and tender, and the toppings are fresh, generous, and thoughtfully prepared. The restaurant presents a clean, welcoming atmosphere that is ideal for a relaxed meal, whether for casual dining or a small gathering. Staff members are professional, courteous, and attentive, ensuring that needs are met promptly without being intrusive. However, some customers have experienced uncomfortable atmospheres, with reports of staff giving creepy vibes and making diners feel unsafe and unwelcome. Additionally, some guests were surprised by unexpectedly high bills. The restaurant also features five VLT machines in the lounge area past the bar. Parking is shared with other stores like dollar store, Triple 8 Pizza, and Urban Planet. Overall, Houston Pizza can be a hit or miss depending on the timing and method of ordering, but the food quality and service can be satisfying for those who navigate these challenges.
