I had a really uncomfortable experience at Houston Pizza. From the moment I walked in, something felt off. The staff were all grinning at me in a way that wasn’t friendly — more like they were plotting something or just generally giving me creepy vibes. It wasn’t just one or two people; it was everyone working there. It honestly made me feel unsafe and unwelcome.
I tried to brush it off and focus on ordering, but the whole atmosphere was so tense and strange that I couldn’t relax. It was as if they were all silently communicating some kind of threat with their expressions. I’ve never felt that way at a restaurant before, and it completely ruined the experience for me.
Because of this, I won’t be returning to Houston Pizza. If you’re planning to go, just be aware that the vibe there might be more unsettling than you’d expect. Customer service should never make someone feel uncomfortable or unsafe.

Ordered a combo for family of 6… which is lasagna, ribs, garlic bread, pizza and Caesar salad. Went to pick it up, got all the way home and all they gave me was the salad and the pizza. Called and the girl kept putting us on hold just to give it to the owner. We decided to go back and pick it up, wasn’t offered any kind of reimbursement just a crumbly gross two pieces of pie.. with “sorry:/“ written on the box. When we got home we opened the ribs they were soggy and didn’t taste cooked. Very saddening as we’ve been going there our whole lives, as we grew up in argyle park. Never had such crappy service or food….
