*Pathetic and Disrespectful Behavior – Worst Customer Service Experience*

I’ve never felt the need to write a review until now, but what happened today (August 3, 2025, around 2:30 PM) at this liquor store was downright disgraceful.

I came to pick up a SkipTheDishes delivery. There were two customers in line—a couple and a senior citizen. While waiting, I had a genuinely pleasant conversation with the senior gentleman. He was extremely kind and insisted that I go ahead of him, saying he had a lot to discuss and didn’t want to hold me up since I was just picking up a quick package.

As I stepped forward to the counter (with his full consent),the old lady working at the counter suddenly snapped, saying in a rude and entitled tone, “I don’t know about others, but if I’m working, you should come to the side door of at the counter.”

Excuse me? Since when is every customer or courier supposed to be aware of her personal rules and schedule? Am I supposed to subscribe to her work calendar?

There were no signs at the counter regarding side door, no instructions in the app, nothing. Just her talking as if the entire city of Regina is obligated to know how she prefers things to be done.

I’ve been picking up deliveries from this store for over a year, and the other staffs have always been respectful, understanding, and professional—sometimes they hand the item at the counter, sometimes at the side. They adjust based on the situation and always speak politely.

This woman, however, acted like she was doing the world a favour just by being there. No professionalism, no common courtesy, just pure arrogance. If this is how she treats people who are literally doing their jobs, I can't imagine how she treats regular customers.

I didn’t waste my time arguing with her, because she clearly wasn’t in a state to understand basic logic or show decency.

To the management or whoever cares about the reputation of this store: please talk to this lady. Let her know that being rude, entitled, and disrespectful is not what customer service is about. Just because someone’s older doesn’t mean they can act however they want and get away with it.

We’re all out here working hard, trying to make a living. Nobody deserves to be treated like trash—especially not by someone who, based on today's experience, felt like they should’ve never been put at the front counter in the first place.
(Note: If management have any further doubts, they can check the camera in the store..Thats why I provided the time and date as well)

Running late to pick up some booze, Jolly’s always got you. Open till 3 am 365 days a year. All of their prices are great and include the taxes and deposits making running a total in your head very easy. They got great selection for being a small store. You can almost buy anything there. Staff is always friendly n helpful. Store looks so much better now with new management. More products, more deals. My daily stop almost. Recommend checking the store if you are in town. They got the best vodka, Jolly Roger Vodka at such amazing prices

Whenever I pass by the great Jolly Roger; I get this very amazing and familiar feeling of ‘Home’. And I always get this feeling to go inside and purchase a cool and soothing beverage known as micky.

I saw some person get their hand dismembered. It was gruesome but I did not mind at all because I had picked up my friend named micky.

It was a mediocre visit but it was okay because micky was there.

I have always liked the jolly rogers, now with all the new changes and upgrades it is becoming such a lovely atmosphere! I reccomed this place for private functions, for fundraisers and even just a cold beer after work!

Seems like a decent place donated a bunch of food pre Christmas never got my empty boxes back or toasters or empty cellars therefore never attended establishment owner seemed nice but personi donated to that works there not so in my opinion

The closest thing regina has to the "Salty-Spitoon". Only for the brave and the vicious. Welcome to Jolly-Rogers, how tough are ya? lol great and friendly staff tho. Cool pirate theme.
