What a well run restaurant that also has a great menu! The fish and chips are amazing as well as the beet salad. Breakfast is included and one of the nicest hotel buffets.

Excellent British Restaurant, was staying at the Fairfield Marriott for 3 days
Mike was our server, last night we were there very pleasant and conscientious. Fish & Chips excellent, Liver & Onions very tasty. Chicken Thai with Pecans very good, Chicken Fingers were huge. Everything was reasonably priced !! My recommendations is to book reservations very busy on weekends. Will come back next time I'm in town. Would definitely recommend Fish and Chips ***5 star**

Our server was great! Just a couple things however that we didn't like. There was no Newcastle Brown Ale, but it was on the menu, couldn't get a straight answer as to if they were just out of it was no longer available. Had cottage pie, nice presentation but it was a bit too spicy. Also had the stuffed Yorkies, these tasted perfect but they weren't hot only slightly warm. The sticky toffee pudding was burned on one side, but the middle was delicious. I was also surprised that there wasn't more of a British feel, it felt more like a regular sports bar. There wasn't even Football (not American football) on any of the tv's! I should also mention that while we were eating someone cranked the music, it was very distracting. I'm not giving up however, maybe they were having a bad night, I'm going back to try a different dish.

I was expecting a pub, I got a hotel restaurant.
The bangers and mash was good, the sticky toffee pudding was not.
Parking: Parking is very tight.

Pizza was luke warm. The waitress dropped two glasses of wine. It spilled and smashed all over the table and one of our guests. Then they were slow to attend to our table. And when we went to pay, we were charged full price. Not impressed.

Fish and chips were good but you should never serve seasoned frozen fries in a traditional English fish and chips meal.

We had a fantastic server (Austin) who had only been there 8 months but was absolutely wonderful! I had liver and onions, my husband had the fish and chips. We shared the Sticky Toffee for dessert. Best food ever! Highly recommend!!!
