We received a gift certificate to this facility which brought us here for the first time. The menu is very appealing and unique. Each of us enjoyed our menu choice very much. The flavours were delicious right from salads through main course. The portions were larger than 3 grey haired folks could finish. At arrival we were greeted, quickly escorted to a table, service by the young female server was quick and efficient. The food was hot and was served on hot plates. Very enjoyable. We were treated as valued customers. We will be returning. Highly recommended.
Revisit Feb 2025:
My parents, boyfriend and I went out for dinner on Wednesday night. My parents were quite happy with their meals. For me, I ordered a Truffle Burger ($24.5) with truffle fries ($3?).
The burger is house-made, with garlic aioli, sautéed mushrooms with butter and thyme, arugula, black truffle cheddar and (my favourite) a bacon-onion compote. It was served on a sesame brioche bun.
It looked great, but there were some problems. The patty itself was much too small for the rest of the burger. My boyfriend also mentioned his was gritty. My fries were warm, not hot. But the biggest let down were the mushrooms. They were extremely tough to eat, I ended up not eating them all because I couldn’t get past how rubbery they were. And I’m a fiend for sautéed mushrooms which says a lot.
The flavours here are good. This is the first time I’ve had issues here, so I am willing to return and I'm hoping that this was just a bad night.
Visit in 2024:
This establishment is known as Breakfast Bistro by day and Luna’s Kitchen by night. After being heavily suggested, I finally got to try both. However, this post will focus on Luna’s Kitchen.
I ordered the Drunken Burger with truffle fries, this was $23 and $2 respectively before tax and tip. I have to say WOW, just WOW. I was absolutely stunned with the neat presentation, the taste and the freshness. The brioche bun smelled and tasted amazing. The fries were the best I’ve had in the city pared with what I believe is Parmesan cheese shavings. I’ve had a lot of burgers recently, this was by far THE best I have had at a restaurant so far. Cheese was melted, bacon was crispy and patty was flavourful. The only thing I can comment on is that I wish the patty was flattened a bit more. Other than that, this was just perfect.
My mom ordered the Brie and bacon chicken breast. This was $36 before tax and tip. I had a bite and it was delicious. I also appreciate the colour of the beet root powder on the plate. Whoever is in the kitchen is thinking of everything, including presentation. Which is hard to come by in Regina.
Although I didn’t snag a photo, we were brought fresh toasted bread slices with some dipping oil. We loved this so much we asked for seconds.
I also want to touch on the amazing Ukrainian Man that served us. He was probably the best server I have ever had in the city. He was easy to talk to, attentive and checking in on us throughout our time there. Seriously, please give this man a raise!
While this restaurant is a bit in the pricier side, I say GO HERE. Save your money and your disappointment on eating a burger elsewhere. Just go directly to Luna’s Kitchen.
NOW ON TO THE DESSERT
Even after a big, delicious meal, I couldn’t pass up on some home made baklava. I realized quickly that this beautiful restaurant is Greek owned. I want to start off by saying that I’ve been to Greece. I’ve tasted Baklava made by many, many Greeks. This dessert was probably one of the best if not the best baklava I have ever had. You can taste the love, the skill and the heart in this dessert. It isn’t too sweet, it’s heavy on the nuts. Which honestly, I’m not complaining.
I usually have square sized or rectangular sized baklava, but a roll was unique! If I could comment anything, I would want just a liiiiiittle bit more syrup drizzled on top.
Other than that, go to Luna’s Kitchen. Even just for this dessert!
Amazing food and service, they were able to accommodate a large group of us in short notice which was really appreciated. All 11 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Great atmosphere and very welcoming staff.
My partner and I arrived at 7pm on Valentine's day. We had no reservation and the main dining area was booked. They offered us a seat at the bar, which we replied we were looking to have a nice meal. The owner/manager was so pleasant and told us we will eat not to worry, and to come in sit and relax.
The atmosphere is fantastic. The staff all attentive and energetic. We ordered some drinks and they brought some house bread and a delicious topping of capers and tomato in oil and vinegar. By the time we finished a drink and the bread, the owner/manager returned and told us he'd pulled a table together for us.
The Valentine's meal was amazing. 3 courses plus desert of the richest food I've ever tasted. It's immediately one of our favorite restaurants ever.
The restaurant is absolutely beautiful 😍 The ambiance and vibe is something that you would expect in a big city. The service, food, and drinks were all fantastic. I would highly recommend the espresso martini. The food was impressive right from the table bread to the dessert. Every meal was delicious. I can’t wait to make my way through the menu. This has instantly become one of my favourite little gems that I will be frequenting often. Amazing job Luna!!
First time being at Luna.
The food was incredible. The striploin steak is probably one of the best I’ve ever had in Regina. It was so flavorful and cooked perfectly. The little potatoes were also great. We will definitely be back. The only thing I could complain about and it’s not even a big deal, is that I’m not a wine drinker so I thought it was a bit expensive. For me all wine tastes the same for me so I can’t distinguish between a great wine and a good wine. I’ve had bad wine before so at least wasn’t that. lol
Overall I would rate the experience 9.5 out of 10. A couple of times our server would only ask half the table of 8 if they wanted drinks when I wanted another. Other than that it was amazing!!!
As someone who has a plethora of food allergies, our server and the kitchen were so kind and made sure we felt comfortable and safe with what we were eating! Thank you for the experience!
The service is always amazing. Food is super fresh and delicious. The ribs are my go-to. A great local establishment
3Jan2025 Dinner. Food was better than expected, from NYork steak, brie chicken, and a pizza. All was very good, at fair price, lower price than Earl's. The tiramisu desert was great and was a large sharable piece. Would recommend this place. It's come a long way since they started by making me a breakfast wrap that was not yet on their menu.
We were a table of 5 and we walk in at 7pm, New Years Eve 2024. They easily could have turned us away due to not having a reservation on a busy evening, but they welcomed my family and moved tables around. The food, service and drinks were amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion. Thank you so much for making our final meal of 2024 so memorable and we will be back.

The service was super slow, the waitress barely came around . The food was way over priced for what you got.
Get the duck. Best meal I've had at any restaurant in Regina!

My Fiancé and I came here last night to celebrate our engagement. We had a reservation and were seated as soon as we entered. Our waitress was very nice and quickly took our drink order. My fiancé had the Bacon Caesar and I had the coconut mojito. Both drinks were delicious! We ordered the Calamari and Shrimp Saganaki to start. The calamari came with a really fresh tasting tzatziki and the Shrimp were served in a delicious red sauce. We loved the appetizers and also enjoyed the complimentary bread they served. For dinner my fiancé ordered the 14OZ sterling silver steak cooked medium and I ordered the white truffle scallops pasta. The time we waited between the appetizers and dinner was pretty long (about 40 minutes). Our waitress told us that the steak takes a while to cook, but the food would be out shortly. Upon receiving our food I noticed that my pasta did not look how I thought it would. In the description on the menu and the photos online it shows the dish with pappardelle pasta and I was served some sort of spaghetti. I thought maybe I read the dish description wrong or perhaps the photos I saw were of a different pasta dish, but this was not the case. The waitress never said there would be any pasta substitutions. My fiancés steak was okay, a bit over cooked to be considered medium and the best part of his meal were the Greek potatoes. I was thankful that we ordered two appetizers because our entrees were not how we pictured them and were a bit of a let down. Overall the service was great and the ambiance was nice but the entrees were way too expensive to be considered just okay.
Food was meh. Was rushed out of the restaurant within 40 mins of sitting down after finishing when I was chatting with the mother and sister of deceased friend. Gave them a second chance recently and they took 2 hours to serve breakfast, had our 3 kids waiting and had others get their food who came 40 mins after. Kept being told couple more minutes for a very long time. Despite us being kind to our server during the whole unacceptable experience, Owners offered a free refill of drinks that cost them nothing to make up for it. Borderline insulting. Extremely poor customer experience both times and they clearly don’t care. Never going back.

What an awesome discovery for 3 weary travellers. we chose duck, salmon and shrimp entree. The salmon was the best of the 3. Great care was clearly taken to blacken but not burn. The duck came with a wonderful glaze and was just sufficiently rare to be moist yet still cooked and served with excellent root vegetables. The shrimp were juicy and perfectly cooked. Greek salad was authentic and generously topped with delicious feta. Kudos to Caden attentive and charming service. Definitely a must-do if passing thru again.
