McCarthy Garden Chinese Food

Quite possibly worst delivered food I have had. Undercooked noodles, overcooked vegies and meat, greasy beyond belief, and way to much low quality soya sauce used as cover up flavouring. Much of the food tasted like a salt lick. Egg roles were good.

Edit. Tried this again and it is back on top for west regina. Ordered a lot of food ($180 worth) and everything was really good. Would go back to this as my go to.

Great food for supper tonight wasn't the biggest fan of the breading on the pineapple shrimp because it went soggy before we got to it but all the other dishes we had were good ginger chk, spring and egg rolls, chicken balls, low mein and the honey garlic spare ribs were FANTASTIC the orange chicken great the wonton soup was amazing as well no complaints from the meal

Look at the 5-star streak that McCarthy Garden has going... This place is in the zone rn! At least the 5-6th time ordering this year and it's delicious as always. Keep it up, guys!!

If you aren't getting your chinese food from an immigrant family owned, hole in the wall, business, you are doing chinese food wrong. This is exactly what I was looking for when I was looking for a chinese restaurant. Packed takeout, an old chinese man speaking cantonese in the kitchen to his son and grandson, and the sweet sultry mood lighting(harsh, flourescent lights). 5/5, will be getting chinese food from here again. Not even being sarcastic.

Everything that I have tried has been amazing. Generous portions and reasonable prices. The grandgirls won't accept takeout from any where else. (It is takeout only.)

Had been a multi decade customer of a long time established Chinese food restaurant in the north west end that has lately dropped the ball on quality and service

Dang! I've been searching for the best Chinese food in Regina for more than 3 years and I think I may just have found it at McCarthy Gardens. I like spicy so I ordered Szechuañ shrimp and Singapore noodles. The food is fresh, tasty and spicy enough to satisfy my palate. The order was ready within the 20 minutes they quoted me and there is plenty for a couple of meals.
The ambience of the restaurant is not conducive to dining in but I don't care, I always order for take out. I'll be back- soon!!

Love their chicken wings. But not fresh roll, I was craving for fresh roll but it was totally different than what I got from viet restaurant.
