Usually Mikel’s is one of my go-to’s for lunch but this past Friday I had it delivered and to my horrific disappointing surprise, the Fusilli Salad I ordered was completely mouldy!!! I also ordered my regular Mozzarella Pesto Sandwich, which thank goodness was its regular A+ deliciousness, but dang, I’m a little wary to order again now! Sad Day 😭❤️🩹

On Sunday, we visited Mikel Coffee. Unfortunately, the staff was quite rude during our visit. Although we've been there many times before and had good experiences, that was not the case this time. An employee spoke to us in a very rude manner, and her body language and facial expressions were awkward and unwelcoming. We were very disappointed.

Yesterday, i went there with my friend! I wanted to order latte as i was not aware about flavours . When i said i want regular one “ she said people like different type of regular one”i didn’t like her response as that was so rude. There should be improvements in their customer service.

We stop by Mikel Coffee on Prince of Wales pretty often and honestly, it has become one of our favorite spots in Regina. The place has such a nice vibe—bright, cozy, and stylish without feeling overdone. It is the kind of café where you can sit with a friend for a chat, enjoy a quiet coffee date, or even pull out your laptop and get some work done.
We usually order the waffle with strawberry ice cream and banana along with a cappuccino. The waffle is always so good—crispy on the outside, soft inside, and just sweet enough. The cappuccino is smooth and rich every time, definitely one of the better ones I have had in the city. On our last visit we tried the matcha latte. It was not really my favorite, but that is more about personal taste and it did not take away from the overall experience.
The staff here really make the place even better. They are always friendly, welcoming, and happy to help. The café is also clean and well kept, which I appreciate.
Overall, Mikel Coffee is a spot we keep coming back to and will continue to. Highly recommend checking it out!
