I used to be a loyal customer at O’Hanlon’s — until a deeply disturbing and traumatic experience changed everything.
One night I lost my phone inside the bar. I was understandably upset and asked the staff at the front for help. When I turned to walk away, the person I had just spoken to came at me aggressively, put his hands on my throat, and tried to choke me. I have pre-existing lung issues due to cancer, and the assault made things significantly worse for me physically — I was left shaken and in pain.
Instead of helping me recover my lost device, they banned me from the bar, accusing me of being too drunk — all while ignoring the fact that I had just been physically attacked by a staff member. I never got my phone back, and there was no accountability for what happened.
What makes this even more absurd is that they promote themselves online as being “home to the best and worst singers in the city,” yet treat their patrons with hostility and zero compassion. This isn’t just about poor customer service — it’s about safety and basic human decency. I would strongly warn others to think twice before going here.

Unreal. The place is magical. Staff is amazing. Best pints in the city! And a place that actually cares about musicians ♥️

O 'Hanlon's was great! It was just crowded enough it reminded me of what the Pump was like back in its glory days. I do think they need more bar tenders though. The wait for drinks was quite long. The live music was awesome. The band Route 99 was playing. They were fun to watch and sang all memorable songs the whole crowd sang along to and their origanals were pretty good too.

I did not even get served .. I stood at the bar for 10 min , I asked politely where do I stand to get a drink I thought maybe I was standing in the wrong place , i was told I don’t even have to serve you .. I was so confused, because he was serving a few guys that came after me . asked to see the manager and he said the bartender asked what I wanted, ummm no he didn’t I stood there for 10 minutes before asking and he acted like I was a problem, so our table just left and went somewhere else and got excellent service . Ohanlins was the worst experience I have had.. train your bartenders! I did take a picture of the bartender that was so rude I wish I could post, he definitely should not be working with public.

A quiet rabbit warren to hang out with friends & grab lunch. World problems will no doubt yield to our resolutions. Or, at least be less concerning after a few pints.

Nice place to relax.
I was waiting outside for 15 minutes and no one spoke to me. When we arrived my boyfriend went inside to to the bar, he was standing there for the 15 minutes and all three of the bar tenders ignored him.
I also overheard this talking about how they waited a crazy amount of time for a pizza and when it finally arrived the workers spilled beer on it.
Had an amazing paddy melt at a reasonable price, and a nice pint
Very nice irish pub. Great food.
I love this place. Been here for karaoke a few times and the sound is really good and the guy running it is awesome. Hella good beer too, I recommend the Guinness. Friendly patrons as well, everyone here is so nice and there's some crazy talented people who sing karaoke here.
