Used to love this place, lately feels like Gabbos 2, except you can get in for free!
Security usually sides with gropers, rageheads, fighters, etc. they'll stop violence but then find ways to gaslight victims and defend gropers.
The crowd, which is usually young adults will cheer on women being pushed around by mid-life crisis wannabe bikers. In fact any form of domestic assault seems to be egged on too. The space is beautiful, and creates a good atmosphere, but is really cramped, hard to navigate. Some staff such as bartenders can be a mixed bag, some good and fast, some are rude and slow.
I'm more likely to die of old-age than getting a drink here in reasonable time. With that being said, the food is tasty, prices decent, beer good.
Staff as well as security do try to be as supportive to bargoers as they reasonably can. They will stop fights and overly aggressive behaviour, but also have the issue of 'looking away' when people are being awful or illegal.
This general issue with the crowd enabling bad and dangerous behavior as well as security turning the other way is going to cause a Crazy Cactus situation in Regina.
I hope to return, but I genuinely don't feel safe here, nor does my girlfriend or friends.

The pub itself is perfectly fine, the food is pub food and the staff are attentive. The women’s bathroom however is an embarrassment. Some stalls are not open for use, some stall doors do not lock and the one accessible stall is not available for use. As a person using a walker to get about using the washroom was difficult and embarrassing. Please do better.
Food was good, everything else was not. Would not go back

I used to be a loyal customer at O’Hanlon’s — until a deeply disturbing and traumatic experience changed everything.
One night I lost my phone inside the bar. I was understandably upset and asked the staff at the front for help. When I turned to walk away, the person I had just spoken to came at me aggressively, put his hands on my throat, and tried to choke me. I have pre-existing lung issues due to cancer, and the assault made things significantly worse for me physically — I was left shaken and in pain.
Instead of helping me recover my lost device, they banned me from the bar, accusing me of being too drunk — all while ignoring the fact that I had just been physically attacked by a staff member. I never got my phone back, and there was no accountability for what happened.
What makes this even more absurd is that they promote themselves online as being “home to the best and worst singers in the city,” yet treat their patrons with hostility and zero compassion. This isn’t just about poor customer service — it’s about safety and basic human decency. I would strongly warn others to think twice before going here.
