Amazing place and good food. I had the grilled pork and vermicelli. The portion is filling and well made. It wad fresh. Only thing I would say is that its a bit expensive. The staff is great, friendly and helpful. I will come here again!

Had a great experience, staff came and took my order as soon as we were ready. Got the tankatsu curry rice and gyoza food came quick and was delicious.

Got some Sushi, and Takoyaki, I absolutely loved both. I see some people in the reviews saying the staff was rude, however this was not my experience. Staff was attentive and worked quickly to bring my meal. Atmosphere was a nice quiet vibe that made me relaxed.

let me also add, I GOT FOOD POISONING THE NEXT DAY!
Do you encounter someone and think, “I’m hitting no tip quicker than you can say rude” the costumer service there was horrible. My friend and I were looking to grab a quick bite and the staff was clearly too. They were eating at a table and stared at us as we looked through the menu as if we walked right into their house as they are having Sunday dinner while watching TV.

The cashier was extremely rude. No hello, no hi, no how’s the weather. “Eat out or in” I stared at him and just was too stunned to speak. First I’m a bother walking in AND ordering. You’d think it’s an RBC bank from the energy in this place. “I should walk out” is what I wish I said but I ordered and boy did I wanted to walk out. He sounded annoyed as if I forced them to work and open the business. I immediately didn’t tip for how rude they were.

Food wasn’t even decent. Soggy tempura and sushi. It’s not a race on Kitchen Nightmares, guys. They rushed it out and boy did it look rushed out. I will not be returning at all. Rude employees that I see are just like this from the fellow negative reviews. If you want to eat here, Uber it cause at least the driver will be more pleasant than this staff!

This is my go-to sushi place. I usually stick to the maki rolls, and the crispy veggie roll is absolute heaven!

Food: worst sushi in Regina. Miso soup tastes like a bowl of hot water that someone whispered “miso soup” into. Sushi pieces are just rice with a sliver of fillings. So overpriced for what you get. I’ve given it multiple tries but I’m not going again.

Service: the staff is unbelievably rude. It’s surprising. It’s almost as if they dislike their customers. Plus one of the workers (maybe the owner) listens to really weird stuff out loud on his computer.

Atmosphere: it’s very dark in there. It’s great if you want to take a nap, though.

Pronto used to be one of my favorite restaurants in the city I was a university student for many years and it was such a great quick place to eat the food was affordable and the portions were good. In recent years there's been a big decline in quality of the food, freshness of the food, and the portions. I'm very disappointed because it used to be such a great place to eat but I recently got a doordash order two rolls for almost $8 each the rolls were tiny they were put together messily with no care. Additionally I got a roll with cream cheese salmon and avocado with barely any avocado tiny bits of cream cheese and mushy warm unfresh tasting fish. I really hope the restaurant can turn things around and go back to more affordable prices with better portions and focus on fresh ingredients not cheap ingredients.

False advertising & zero accountability.

Ordered Vegan Shoyu Ramen because it said it comes with egg. Got no egg. First excuse: “We don’t have egg.” Then: “It’s vegan, so we removed it.”
So why list it with egg?

Asked for either the egg or a partial refund — got a weak “sorry” and nothing else.

Also while ordering I asked to add 2pcs of chicken pointing at menu(clearly $2.75 on the menu). Got some shredded chicken and charged more.

Menu lies + silent upcharges = sketchy business.
Pronto? More like Sneako.

The restaurant is quiet and the staff are too, but the young employee there is the best, friendly and nice. I feel comfortable ordering from him, unlike the rest of the employees. Their sushi and kimchi are amazing.

I rarely leave bad reviews, but the staff at this sushi restaurant made it impossible not to. From the moment we walked in, it felt like we were an inconvenience rather than valued customers. The hostess barely acknowledged us and acted annoyed when we asked about our reservation. We were seated 20 minutes late with no apology.

The server seemed completely uninterested—rushed through the specials, rolled their eyes when we asked questions, and forgot half our order. When we politely pointed it out, they were dismissive and borderline rude. The whole interaction felt cold and unwelcoming.

To make matters worse, we noticed staff chatting and laughing among themselves while customers were clearly waiting to be served. It’s one thing if the food is great (which it wasn’t—average at best), but when the service is this bad, it ruins the entire meal.

Not coming back. There are plenty of other sushi places where they actually care about their guests.

I had high hopes for this place based on the photos and reviews, but sadly it didn’t live up to the hype. The sushi looked decent on the plate but completely lacked flavor. The fish didn’t taste fresh, and the texture was off — chewy and not in a good way. I’ve had better sushi from a grocery store.

The atmosphere was chaotic, with loud music and staff who seemed overwhelmed or uninterested. We waited over 30 minutes for a basic sushi roll, and when it finally arrived, it was sloppily prepared. Not worth the wait or the price.

Disappointed and won’t be returning.
